Na Koa event raises $60,000
Na Koa’s golf tournament raised about $60,000 for the football program.
Keith Komeiji’s three-some had the best round.
Nick Rolovich played four holes, then turned his clubs over to offensive coordinator Brian Smith for the final 14 holes.

Former Warrior cornerback Jalen Rogers will be participating in an April 21 tryout for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League.
Last year, Rogers signed a two-year contract with the Montreal Alouettes. But a coaching change following the 2017 season enabled Rogers to become a free agent.

Jackson Rees will start for the baseball ‘Bows against UC Riverside in today’s opener of a crucial three-game Big West series at Les Murakami Stadium.
The ‘Bows, Cal State Fullerton and CSUN are tied for first at 4-2 in the Big West.
The ‘Bows will be at near full strength with third baseman Ethan Lopez back in the lineup. After missing 14 games because of a wrist injury, Lopez returned against UC Davis the past Sunday, smacking a first-pitch, two-run homer.
RIGHT ON !!!
GO WARRIORS !!!
thank you Na Koa and all who participated in the golf tournament!
scattered clouds over Honolulu
hope this will allow the bank of clouds over the Koolaus to push over into the Leeward side and give the windward side a break and some sun shine!
nearly 3 weeks of near total clouds w/o sunshine to grow plants.
I promised myself someday day soon-before 4 years transpires , to play golf in this event. No burning passion but just to do it!

Madddog50:
let us know so we can surely set up a “cattle call” with you as the premier guest!
ST, thank you the football practice time update. The 4 pm start is even better. It will allow me to scoot out around 530 to beat the closure of 3 lanes, H1 West, starting at 6 pm
Thanks-Premier? Don’t about that but I gotta make it happen!!!!
On a different subject, Softball, Rachel Turner hit a 2-run homer in the top of the 3rd against UCSB this afternoon. Rachel hit her first career home run against Cal Poly last week. So now she has homered in back to back games. What a way to close out her career.
holy moley Andy, it’s going to be very crowded in lower campus with the football game and final VB game against Long Beach St. on 4/14/18.
traffic mess for sure!!!
Can the spring game be televised on Facebook or something?
On Lower Campus Saturday:
Spring Football practice (4 pm)
Baseball vs UC Riverside (6:35 pm)
Beach Volleyball – Senior Night (3 & 5 pm)
Warrior Volleyball – Senior Night vs #1 LBSU (7 pm) – white-out
– Seniors: Tui Tuileta & Mamane Namahoe (grandson of bighilofan2)!!!
GO WARRIORS!
GO WAHINE!
Way to go, Dana Thomsen.
Kanani Aina Cabrales had better stuff.
It’s all about believing in yourself.
I think the softball program started go wayward when Bob Coolen used a scholarship on a pitcher who didn’t want to pitch.
#12: Beach VB’s senior night isn’t on Saturday; it’s on Sunday. Women’s Tennis’ Senior Day is Saturday (afternoon).
Softball team has won 4 straight and is in 3rd place, for now.
Posting the spring game on Facebook live would help in exposure and possibly in recruiting. Just thinking outside the box again, it’s 2018 people!
#14 mens volleyball is on Saturday night not Sunday
A fair catch will be allowed inside the 25 yard line on kickoffs in an NCAA rule change. The offense would then get the ball on the 25 yard line, as it would be a touchback.
Also a new rule on blocking below the waist by the offense.

#16 – that’s totally in-the-box thinking, just that we are a bit behind the times here.
last night for 1 and 1/2 hours we were pounded by torrential rain and endless thunder/lightning
both were coming from all sides thus creating a continuous rolling thunder — non-stop!!
we have not seen this in our valley since the now infamous 1988 New Year eve/day floods on Oahu — our sturdy wooden bridge, since replaced by metal and concrete, held out allowing us access in/out of the valley — made me wonder how the clouds could hold so much water before allowing it to fall
