California prep QB commits to Warriors
For a family vacation to Hawaii, Jeremy Moussa toured the island, snorkeled, ate local food and … came away with a scholarship from the Warriors.
Moussa, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound quarterback from Roosevelt High in Corona, Calif., told the Honolulu Star-Advertiser he made a verbal commitment to play for the Warriors in 2018. Moussa made his decision on Monday, but wanted to wait until after his family finished their week-long stay before making the official announcement.
“I love the coaching staff,” Moussa said. “I really connected with (quarterbacks) coach (Craig) Stutzmann and coach Rolo. He played quarterback here. He knows what to do.”
Moussa also received offers from San Jose State, Nevada, UC Davis and Dartmouth. He said he wanted decide now so he could focus on his senior season. He is expected to ink a letter of intent on Dec. 20, the first day of the NCAA’s new early-signing period.
“I grew up in Southern California my whole life,” Moussa said. “It’s kind of a different experience seeing a different part of the world. I like that opportunity.”
Great Afternoon All!

Can’t wait to watch the film on this young man. Coaches really going hard in recruiting these days, it’s exciting to see that hard work pay off.
Wow, stats for junior year were connecting on 261-of-424 passes (61%) covering 4,008 yards with 56 touchdowns. Only had five interceptions and he also had five rushing touchdowns. His team ran an Air Raid-West Coast style of offense. Hope he signs.
The more bodies, the better the competition. Now we need to get some movers and the shakers, big, nasty, athletic offensive linemen and defensive lineman to win the line of scrimmage. I think Rolo and Company can get the skill players, but it’s hard to get top tier lineman. Ulu -Perry is probably the highest prospect we ever got, and he came to UH via transfer. And Sopoanga and maybe Josh Leonard are two of the highest rated DL we ever got so they are far and few between.
It’s a good “get” if Moussa commits in December…I believe we’ve also received a commitment from one of his teammates, so that helps. Yes, we gotta go after some big bodies to shore up the DL and OL. Too bad we loss Naotala, cause I really liked him.
ST: How are our chances with the highly touted running back that made an “unofficial” visit during the summer? Boy, I’d surely like to have him in our line-up.
Congrats to coach Rolo and staff. Jeremy Moussa is rated .8333 by 247 Sports.
I was just excited that he’s from Roosevelt …
Here’s a short video of him…
he’s got an arm and eye
and can qb sneak.

Dartmouth.
No sweating it out as to being academically eligible, I guess.
I think Dartmouth is the safety school for Harvard, Yale, and Princeton applicants.
KCC was my safety school.
Did anybody see “The Social Network”?
I like it when the Zuckerman character tells his girlfriend, “You go to Boston U. You don’t have to study.”

Moussa’s hudl video (size, release) reminds me of another highly touted high school qb that played at UH. Tim Chang, Moussa’s receivers are not too shabby as well.
ST:
#8 — eye wanda Y?
NotNasti #12:
similar throwing motion as Timmy Chang with that “soft touch” to his WRers and the accuracy of Colt Brennan.
was tinkin da same ting about the WRers
tackles not to shabby either!
is Rolo and staff hiding any OL/DLers — keep PAC 12 recruiters away!
now, it would be different is UH was in the PAC 12.
Fate Y went to Aiea High
Morning Tsaikos!
Good news for the Naotala family.
