Cheers!
After Monday’s lackluster practice, the Warriors got a boost from the UH cheerleaders today. They were split into two groups — one cheering the offense, the other the defense.
After practice, the soccer and football teams competed in a shootout challenge:
And, finally, the Furuta siblings — Tia and Dayton — compete against each other:

Max Hendrie status? We need the Aussie in Aussieland!
Yes indeed you are 3-Prong! Cheers!
Glad to see Wahine and Warriors getting their kicks!
Hope they both had great practices.
Here’s the whole shootout from S. Spangler.

Lackluster practice…these are not encouraging words. No starting QB named. But it’s nothing compared to the challenges the Fresno St team is going through with 6 of their top running backs out with injuries, as they prepare to face Nebraska in their season opener at Lincoln.
Great to have the cheer team getting their reps in!
Fun shootout. Glad the Wahine prevailed!
And having the team help the incoming students move into the dorms is fantastic!
Go Warriors!
Go Wahine!
FYI, ” The frozen scallops suspected of causing the hepatitis A outbreak in Hawaii originated in the Philippines and were distributed by Koha Oriental Foods on Oahu and Kauai, the state Health Department announced this afternoon.”

Hey, play no quarterback. Have a four running back set.
And direct the snap to any one of them 🙂
Rolo could change football forever 🙂
Here’s a series of videos from Cal Berkeley.
Look for loose lips 🙂

can Max Hendrie travel with the team for the game? being NOT cleared to participate means he is NOT a member of the team?
it sure would go a long way in UH recruiting for academics and all sports
for all the “investors” out there – I pick UH and over for the game!
“off we go into the wild blue yonder, into the sky”
“over hill, over dale, we will hit the dusty trail”
“anchors away my boy, anchors away”
“from the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli”
lest we forget all those who have gone before us – thank you for the world you left for us
#13 & #14 … “A-House” … RIGHT ON BRAH !!!!!
LIVE ALOHA / PLAY WARRIOR / DEFEND THE ROCK … GO ‘BOWS !!!!!
I like the new UH Athletics website. It has a brighter look to it. It gives off a positive vibe. I didn’t dislike the look of the old website, but I think the new one is a significant improvement. The only negative is that rainbows seem to be missing. It would not be super hard to fix that though, and the website needs some color when there are no pictures. The H-Zone website is particularly sterile. To paraphrase the Sports Animals … “Free the Rainbow” 🙂

Who’s going to the Pigskin Pigout tonight?
Great Morning All!
Give the team your own boost tonight.
WarriorNY,
I will be at the Pigout and invite all other Tsaikos to attend as well.
(not so much into the Jet version) Get funky!

…talk is cheap!
I usually go past the H-Zone Ward store
once a week walking my puppy, and I have
to agree, it looks a bit dreary…and all polyester.
I have an old, old, old UH COTTON white shirt
in my closet that I treasure. They should make
them (cotton) in rainbow colors, too. You could
wear yellow one day, pink the next. Orange some days.
Various greens. Ocean blues. Even red and purple.
Now that would brighten up the shop. 🙂 Go Rainbows.
Go Cotton 🙂
18 Akamai Okole,
Good to hear. Hope everyone can go and support the team… There should be a NY package up for bidding!
Akamai Okole-I am so envious of those who can attend things like the Pig Out-got the word they are expecting a great turn out. I did put my money where my mouth is though-just sent Na Koa a check from my annual outing-have fun!!!
