Walter Hill’s “The Warriors” reminds me of HBO in the seventies, in its infancy.

I remember watching this with my grandparents. They let me watch R-rated movies.

What really freaked me out was the preview to “Exorcist II: The Heretic”. The music, man, scary, scary stuff to a little kid. Quentin Tarantino used a snippet of it in “The Hateful Eight”.

I was raised in Honolulu and spent my first 35 years of life between Manoa and Mililani. In 1960 I attended UH, but as a result of my children’s health, we are health wise, live in Arizona. For the past 32 years I come back home (Hawaii, Oahu & Maui). One of my “Big Deals”, is the UH Book store, to buy “stuffs”, that says UH. I read the Honolulu paper to follow everything I can about home, HAWAII!

Does UH have a film or video department? Shouldn’t they tap them for taping the practices/games?
I grew up with Nebraska football and attended many games. They have an awesome video department and create a great game day experience at the stadium. One of the highlights is the players tunnel walk at the beginning of the games. Look it up on youtube. I think UH’s video department or students should produce more videos to paly at games to make the experience better.
By the way, since I moved here 21 years ago I have been a UH fan. Even went to watch them in the Sugar Bowl. Go Warrirors!
