2 former Warriors sign with Australian teams
Former Warriors Julian Gener and David Griffin have signed with pro teams in Australia’s fledgling National Gridiron League.
Gener, a linebacker, said he signed with the Newcastle Miners.
Griffin, an offensive lineman, signed with the North Coast Heat.
(Former UH defensive backs coach Ken Flajole was the Heat’s head coach until he signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in January.)
Gener and Griffin will leave for Australia in August. The season is scheduled to start in October.

GOOD MORNING, HAWAII!
AL- good day to you!
G’day mates. Fire up the Barbies down under.
Get the UH football fever—even tho it is winter thar.
π
Sad to hear about Bess. I hope he can find some people to help him put his life together…
Good to see the foreign exchanges continue with former Warriors going global in their respective quests to play professional ball.
China, Japan, CFL, Europe and Oz – neat! Whoda thunk just ten years ago that we would see Warriors in such far flung places. Good luck to all of them!
GO WARRIORS!!!
It’s easy to to tell that someone above is wrongly using the name “al” to post here.
Anyone who knows the real al knows him to be a kind, gentle and generous person who would never make fun of another’s misfortunes, in particular Davone Bess, who contributed greatly to the UH’s success and worked hard for everything he has accomplished. DB is said to have serious medical issues related to his behavior, which contribute to his problems today.
To use another man’s identity to kick yet another man while he’s down is a disgrace, and requires a special kind of cowardice.
Search your heart, who ever you are, and please, stop with the disgusting posts already. God forgive you.
Davone needs support not wise cracks. Say a pule for the brother.
IMUA
We love you brother. Lotsa prayers coming your way.

Big prayers for this guy too.
Ken Flajole and Mark Banker are two names from the past who served for one year on Bob Wagner’s staff during his last season at UH in 1995. They both proved to be resilient and managed to rise up the coaching ranks (Flajole a long time NFL assistant and now LBs coach for Phily, and Banker DC at OSU and now Nebraska) despite the career setbacks at Manoa.
Good luck to our guys in Australia!
RE: #6
DPK — we’ve known Al for almost 10 years on the blog. We know what he looks like, what he sounds like, how and what he eats (Cattle Calls and tailgates). We also know his writing style. Yes, that it not Al in comment #3 and I don’t think it’s Al in comment #8 either… there are two errors/giveaways in #8.

Am I missing something here?
I was greeting my friend Al K. in my message this morning. I don’t see any other posting by Al in today’s Blog.
Howzit Tsaikos!
Honorable Counselor – #14 – ST had his delete button at the ready and zapped the impostor’s disgusting and inappropriate posts.
Hope Mr. Bess gets the help he needs.
This new “Al” is a sick puppy and should be banned from all blogs.
On June 16 blog, # 69 was missed by the censor too.
To quote another regular lurker, “Don’t feed the troll.”
ST also has the ability to ban the troll who clearly is not here to enjoy the 5 Fs.
Aloha, Tsaikos!
Back to lurking
This “al” sounds like the old steve who used to troll with his rotten attitude.
Kurt Suzuki now the all time Hawaii born MLB player rbi leader with 495. Went 4 for 5, 6 rbi, 2 run HR. Passed Victorino’s 489. Mike Lum had 431, per KITV.
Uses ax- handled bat now.

woo hooo!!! i’m finally a winner at something.
Chawan – dat’s so lame. π j/k
I worry that Davone Bess has CTE.
ST, do the board a favor and provide me the IP address of this coward imposter AL.
I would do it myself, but one of my cousins is getting out of Halawa, (not housing, although is a housing boy), more up the Valley, and he will needsome temporary work as part of his release. He will provide the following: comportment and manners training; grammar and diction education; and ego and “big-body” decompression. Plus, as a free one-time offer, he will also include diet hints; he knows a ton, as he weighs about 325.
Let me know, just got to clear it with his PO.
Master Boola – π π π
I can think of some other guys that could benefit from your cuz’s teachings.
Me is having a hard time to understand why his e mail address is just not blocked before it even gets here…. we all have to post a e mail address b-4 we send messages…

June Jones needs to reach out to Bess or bring him back to Hawaii as a receivers coach at a high school.
