SandBows upset FSU 4-1, beat FIU 4-1
Congrats to the SandBows, going 5-0 on trip, including today’s 4-1 win over No. 2 FSU and 4-1 over No. 10 FIU.
Loss vs. the ‘Noles came at No. 1 where Schreiber and Taylor lost in 3.
it was FSU’s first team loss of the season.
Against FIU, No. 1 and 2 flights switched, Maglio-Speiler to 1 and Schreiber-Taylor to 2. Both won in 3
loss was at No. 5 with Taylor and Long

UH won 6-0 over FIU. Tucker and Long won in 3 and teams #1 and #2 did not switch. Maglio/Spieler still #1 and Taylor/Schreiber #2, it’s just that the #1 match ended earlier than the #2 match.
congrats to the wahine beach team … going undefeated, 5-0, for the week! awesome results on the road.
it looks like there’s a discrepancy in the results of the last dual matches with FIU. the live stats showing hawaii won all the matches. but the uh twitter says hawaii won 4-1.
no matter … a distinction without a difference.
I’ll go with the twitter from UH vs live stats, 4-1 UH.
1. Or you can go with the original post of 4-1. Which I got from Hall
Team lost at No. 5. Live stats are wrong
don’t know if I trust live stats but if you go to the Match Notes box it tells you the order of finish
Live stats are corrected now with the correct score.
But wrong teams at 1 and 2. Hall said he did not switch.
And score is wrong at No. 6. Guinasso-Anderson lost in 3. Hall said it was awesome to watch, they won it on serving and defense. No block.

Thanks Cindy. The SandBows should move up in the poll next week to at least #4. Florida State has defeated the current #4UCLA twice this month; 3-2 (March 10th) and 4-1 this weekend, on the same neutral site that UH defeated FS 4-1.
I am so confused….. “Guinasso-Anderson lost in 3. Hall said it was awesome to watch, they won it on serving and defense. No block.”
