Video: San Jose State rolls over Hawaii

Gotta say I didn’t know what to think of Coach Naeole. We’re losing and keep on losing and it doesn’t look good. Not on this video, but the Coach’s video after the game, he said flat out that some of the players are checking out, and he can see it. After saying that, NOW I give him credit. Its not easy to say that about your players, but you have got to be straight about it. For me, now, Coach Naeole is a straight up guy. He can learn, and get better at the coaching stuff, but you’ve got to be able to see it and tell it like it is. Good on him. That said, on the positive note, he mentioned there are a number of players still giving it their all. Now that’s what we like to hear. I wouldn’t give the coach much credit for just that. But we do like to hear that, especially from a straight up guy. It means more. Good on those players.
