7-Eleven

The unsupervised workouts usually consist of 7-on-7 drills. This time, the Warriors included 11-on-11 sets. That allowed some of the young linemen to hone their footwork.

By the way, in that first pic, Dylan Collie made the catch.

  6. jimmy the lock July 17, 2015 10:38 am

Run like failure is chasing you!
Run like everything depends on the next step!
Run like today is tomorrow and a better yesterday!

    Go Warriors!
    Go Wahine!

  11. Stephen Tsai July 17, 2015 10:58 am

The women’s basketball team was working out today, too.
But they were on the other side of the field, I only had 4 hours sleep and it was really humid. My new photographic philosophy: Let the action come to you.

  12. Tiki808 July 17, 2015 11:10 am

My pal…go ahead show him your hairy chess.

  13. jimmy the lock July 17, 2015 11:21 am

hairy chess? Get fur all over the pieces and board? Or the players are furry critters? Watcha talkin’ ’bout Willis?

  14. st. anthony trojan July 17, 2015 11:21 am

Seems like Ewaliko in two pics u have had of him so far…is really having a lot of separation on the defensive back…LIKE NO ONE WAS REALLY COVERING HIM… is it his ability n speed to get open… or miss assignments on defensive backs ?

  15. turfwar July 17, 2015 11:40 am

What is he ever talking about.

  16. turfwar July 17, 2015 11:42 am

Also agree with jtl about more Wahine pics!

  17. SteveM July 17, 2015 11:53 am

    Good morning everyone!

    Nice photos, ST!
…what color clothing do you wear on the field so that, errrr… you don’t accidentally become part of the action? B&W zebra stripes? Red? Chartreuse? 😛

  18. Tiki808 July 17, 2015 11:54 am

Interesting lineup. 90 players 2015 or 115 players trying out?

  19. jimmy the lock July 17, 2015 11:59 am

SteveM, it’s not the color of the clothes, it’s the body type. Obviously ST’s body type* is not female or ripped or bulky muscular.

    *based on internet photos

  20. Tiki808 July 17, 2015 11:59 am

How much is the upper north end one yellow, mauka side of Aloha stadium? Tickets

  21. Andrew July 17, 2015 12:10 pm

    20.

I think it’s 99.00 for season. I had north end zone orange section and that was about 110/120 each. But since plenty people are not renewing I moved to Mauka Blue. A lot more expensive but I guess it’s an investment for the future…

  22. Brian Norman July 17, 2015 12:10 pm

Put some the linemen behind the women’s volleyball team, they will both run faster…

    Just a thought…

  23. NotNasti July 17, 2015 12:11 pm

JTL: you’ve described the body type of 99% of the good people on this blog. No matter how hard I try (gym 3-4x/week), I still cannot get out of the 99%.

  24. ponojr July 17, 2015 12:50 pm

    Is Trey Linton Gouveia’s classmate?

  25. jimmy the lock July 17, 2015 1:03 pm

NotNasti, no worries then, you won’t be recognized as part of the action. 😆

  26. WarriorMojo July 17, 2015 1:34 pm

ST, page A10, someone at SA has a sense of humor I see: “In-store sex video arouses officials”.

That’s close to “Headless Body in Topless Bar” as far as I’m concerned.

Nice photos. Guys and Wahine look like they are working hard.

  27. jm2375 July 17, 2015 2:23 pm

    Howzit Tsaikos!

Looks like all dem guys are working hard.

Off, but related, topic: Position announcements are up for the following UHAD positions:
    – Asst coaches for swimming and men’s volleyball
    – Wahine bb director of operations
    – Team managers for football, baseball, softball, swimming & diving, water polo, and Wahine basketball

    GO WARRIORS!
    GO WAHINE!

  28. Tarai July 17, 2015 2:47 pm

    ST

Who are the top lifters on the team ?

  29. Ipu Man July 17, 2015 4:20 pm

I wonder if Ne’Quan Phillips would be better on offense.
He’s a nasty attitude looking dude who could probably
    fool the defense.

  30. Andrew July 17, 2015 4:28 pm

    26.

    What do team managers do?

  31. H-man July 17, 2015 4:36 pm

Just noticed, Simon Poti is wearing rainbow socks! And why are some of the Wahine working out in bare feet? Ouch!

  32. jm2375 July 17, 2015 5:07 pm

Andrew – #29 – here’s the one for Men’s BB team manager (it was just posted):

  33. kapakahi July 17, 2015 5:29 pm

    ST,

CB Trey Linton a new scholie player?

  34. st. anthony trojan July 17, 2015 6:01 pm

Managers usually run on the field n pick up the kicking-tee after after we score a touchdown… but have not done to much of that the past few years….he he he

Surprise signing but DB Trey Linton from Charlotte apparently is a Warrior? According to his Twitter

  36. Tiki808 July 17, 2015 11:56 pm

Didn’t know they were paying for it. Facility

  37. Tiki808 July 17, 2015 11:59 pm

So! Jealous of not playing? Never saw him play. Mililani guy or QB.

  38. Tiki808 July 18, 2015 12:09 am

Back to normal again. I’m from Oahu, so Dave Matlin knows somethings I didn’t. They pay for their stay. Why? Free money to play. For whom? Not locals though.

  39. Tiki808 July 18, 2015 12:48 am

How tall is Lance Williams? Because I’m bright. Did he pay, if so why? State funded. Money needed is job supplied. Economics. What does he pay for? Write it down for us here. Then I’ll compare two subjects, banking terms.

  40. Tiki808 July 18, 2015 1:42 am

In high school, I went to PCH. 1980 I understand Lance. In my yearbook at Pearl City High School 1980 I was captain of the hs football team and made the honor society club and bio-med club. I have my yearbook to prove it. President President National honor society. Tiki808. That year I played against Farrington governors. linebacker #55. 7 pages indexed senior yearbook. Wow. I forgot his name, but under the lights in PCH, too much chicks. Too hard. I like Lance. He works harder than most people.

  41. Maddog50 July 18, 2015 3:37 am

Steven great photos they help create positive buzz leading up to the season- thanks. Any rumors or info on uniforms for this year. Sure would be. Nice to revive some of the former designs and color schemes—-hope something is on the horizon
