Interesting scores…Both AZ teams lost to the Pac-12 cellar dwellers…FSU needed 5 to beat Miami…Don’t understand why Kentucky is ranked so high…

In the Utah upset over Colorado Adora Anae originally from the windward side of Oahu hit 0.424 with a season high 17 kills. Too bad she didn’t want to play for UH.

    2. Not everyone does. But don’t know how serious UH was about her either.
Still quite the athlete. Believe she was 4 sports. VB BKB SOC TRK

I thought she was seriously considering staying home even after she had verballed to Utah. Wouldn’t surprise me if she transfers back sometime honestly.

Another score of note…Stanford def. Oregon State 25-22, 25-19, 29-27. Not so interesting as the win, but how OSU kept it pretty close throughout. OSU even swept Cal at Cal. Pac-12 is definitely more interesting this year, so far.

I forget, did Oregon start the season unranked, or was that ASU?

jmy — i wouldn’t call utah and colorado cellar dwellars. they finished about middle of the pack in the pac-12 last year and both made the ncaa tournament (where both reached the 2nd round).

Yep. AVCA poll out. Hawaii up to 21st. Stanford, Texas, Washington, Florida State, and Penn State are the leaders of the board. Oregon (11), UCLA (17), and Arizona State (18), still rated highly, which is a good indication of Hawaii’s strength in RPI.
