Maiava agrees to 4-year deal
Baldwin High graduate Kaluka Maiava and the Cleveland Browns agreed to terms on a four-year contract worth just under $2.3 million, an NFL source said.
His agent, Kenny Zuckerman of Priority Sports, could not be reached for comment.

Mom and brother were not so happy when wideout Billy Ray Stutzmann received a tribal tattoo that covered his left shoulder and the left side of his chest. That tattoo was completed last week. But nobody minded the tattoo he received in January. It reads: Sacrifice. “It took a lot of sacrifice to be at UH and on the football field,” Stutzmann explained.

Happy birthday to the lovely Myki. Here’s a picture of Myki, SJmacro and a very famous tree:
I can’t wait to see Billy Ray on the field!
ST,
I hope traffic court went well.
This article mentions David Veikune.
Feature article on Jesse Williams. He turned down UH’s scholarship? I thought academic reasons prevented him from going to UH…
Good morning ST! (I hope)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MYKI !!!
Lots of colleges are having cut back severely on their Athletic Department budgets, with the first wave of teams being eliminated now. 30 schools have cut at least 1 sport, with MIT cutting 8, Cincy 3, and U-Dub 2.
Happy Birthday Myki!
Happy birthday Myki!
And top 10 today – will miracles never cease?
happy birthday myki!
i hope you’ll be dining at your favorite eatery sometime soon.
Jesse Williams didn’t meet the academic requirements to play for UH.
Sorry for the delay in posting.
I now get a trial … set for Dec. 14. (The judge was understanding of UH’s schedule.)
garret.
as i read between the lines, “it didn’t work out with the school side of things”. that statement tells me that he did not quality for entrance to manoa, therefore, i am at a jc.
Happy Birthday Myki !
Wow, that’s a major tat on Billy Ray. Happy Birthday, Myki and cheers to many more.
I just took Warrior Jack around the Village photographing him in various locations. That got me thinking that UH should do a “Where in Hawaii is Warrior Jack?” photo contest on its Facebook Fan Page. Then they can give away season tickets. I have some hilarious photos of Warrior Jack out and about in Waikiki…getting a tan, at the bar…near the penguins…you name it.
did #10 just post on a delated basis?
pp…. did you get his autograph?
Happy Birthday myki!
Happiest of Birthdays Myki!!
Great idea PP! I gotta remember to take him to LV with me. I’ll even have to take a picture of me and him at the Monday Night Football game!
Wow. Left me in Sunday with system restore.
Happy Birfday, Myki and many more!!
Hauoli Lahanau, MYKI!!!
Reboot.
Sheesh.
Garret:
re Jesse Williams – paragraph 1 of the article is saying that the “prestigious US university” who offered a scholarship is Arizona Western College?
Why is Arizona Western a prestigious sports venue?
Happy birthday myki!!!
While waiting for the new post, this came to mind:
Here I sit in a stte of bliss, listening to my trickling ……
all of a sudden a thunder is heard, followed by a rumbling …
You can’t say that, you can’t say that!!
Good luck to ST at his hearing in 12/09!
al, whose autograph? Warrior Jack? He is going to be a celebrity around here very soon. I don’t get autographs for myself, just others. There are a few Tsaikos who can verify that. 🙂
ST
I sent a message to you at your Hawaii edu email address.
PowderPuff – great idea, maybe even some outer island sightings too
A-House:
Nothing prestigious about Arizona Western w/r/t sports. A good JC, yes, but I wouldn’t consider the place ‘prestigious’. Also, Yuma, AZ isn’t the most wonderful place on earth, either.
Even from when I lived out there, the Arizona Western football team still plays their home games at a high school field, IIRC.
Happy birthday Myki. Thanks again for the cruise information.
Happy Birthday Myki!!
Happy Birthday myki!!
Happy Birthday Myki!
Warrior Jack needs a tat like that!
My Warrior Jack needs some “guns” before he can get any tats!
Kid — how many Warrior Jacks do you have?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MYKI!!!
I’ll be sure to join you and SJ back at “da tree” come fall camp!!!
Happy birthday Myki!
Hau’oli La Hanau, Myki!!!
Happy Birthday myki!
….maybe by mid-December the trial judge will feel “empathy” towards grandfathers! 😉
I’m wondering who will be the first with a Warrior Jack photo from The Dark Side.
heheheh
Hmmm…
nothing from Bulla lately. Would he have just pulled off the H1 before Kunia and turned around in disgust?
d1島 — the Bulla commute could be awful, considering he and Lyn don’t necessarily work the same hours but both work in Waikiki. Only consolation is that maybe they can find a place to overnight if necessary…. 🙂

Just being nosy … what is the trial for?
Happy Birthday Myki!
Afternoon, Tsai-ko Ohana!
Happy birthday Myki!
Bulla: Poor ting’…welcome to the Wesside Commute Club. If it gets really bad, just do what I do…take the nearest cutoff and find your favorite (or new) watering hole…..
ST: Court? Did the plaid shirt man turn you in?
Kazz: Haaaalaaaaaa….you not supposed to be HERE! hehehe..
Aloha Bulla… 4 more days… 🙂
Is Bella gonna be around for the CC with brother?
Colomaohana,
Saw my opening and took it. 😆
pp…i forgot. you just like to yell at the celebs.
so i am looking at the last pix.
the poor tree, again.
isn’t that myki lifting her leg?
Hiya.
Still fixing buggy PC.
Hiya Big C. I guess the stands for big Commute. Sympathies to the Bullas. But wessai living can be mighty fine!
Eh al, Girls can mark their territories too. Maybe she’s just trying to protect the tree from further humiliation.
Happy Birthday Myki!!
Kazz: I guess that means certain peeps that sit behind or around you have gone to lunch……
Hi Liz: Yes, you are correct. I like that one!
Howzit, Rob25!
Bad news about RGM. It appears that he’s lost his starting spot after the first two games of the season and he’s being replaced by a WR from SJSU.
Howzit, HiFlyer!!
BTW, big mahaloz to you, HiFlyer, for joining us on the pink side and keeping C rM company at the Relay for Life on Saturday! Was so good to see you!!!
ST and Al,
I think that you are correct about the Jesse Williams situation with UH…but the article made it seem like he turned down UH to go to “prestigious” Arizona Western. Taking nothing away from Arizona Western (excellent school for that level), UH is at a different level for both Academics and football.
gee robbie i was jokin about the leg lift.
but, seriously, girls mark too?
Liz — isn’t the usual fix just to buy a new one? New one for $500…if at work, you’ve already cost the company that much in just your time. Is that why you use the other brand at home when you are on your own prime time? 👿
Back to work…I’ve got to get a lot of work done today because I can’t work tonight. I won tickets to the advance showing of the Harry Potter movie, so Lori and I will have a rare night out without the kids!
My local paper has contests on their website for subscribers, which is a great incentive for people to keep their subscriptions. Hotel stays, DVDs, tickets to concerts, movies, etc., are all given away…and the paper makes money because of the extra pages you have to click to enter the contest. It would be great if the Advertiser did something like that. It might take away from the free stuff that ST has to give out, though.
the arizona jc’s are good options for the local boys.
the distractions are fewer than their socal/norcal counterparts.
and more importantly they offer scholarships and many have dorms on or near campus.
for those that don’t have scholies they also offer WUE benefits, thereby reducing much of the tuition expenses.
whereas, in cali that does not exist.
Garret:
The pink side has those give aways often! In fact, we just had the same give away!
I’ll be there (Ward Theaters) tonight along with 2 other discussion leaders from the pink side to host our 15 winners and their guests!!
I also have to write a little review tomorrow morning, but eh….its worth taking time out to do that since I get to see the movie first, right?!
Maaan. Looks like Firefox was my crasher. Trying Chrome now.
SteveM- mac at home was to prep for possible Mac at work.
After today. Grrrrr. I’ll be lobbying hard!
😯
Jus’ pau switching over all my machines at home this past weekend to ff!
Did you try any of these things?
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/internet/firefox/troubleshooting-problems-with-firefox-3-crashing-or-hanging/
(sorry, no can access tinyurl from this computer)
FF is not the only thing. Outlook is slow too. Time to call in the troops. Gack.
I’m sayn slow like waitin fer a light to come on durin a blackout.
Hi Colomaohana!
How you been sistah? We miss having you around. Aren’t those kids grown yet? Gotta come play with the adults soon!!
I know…been missing you crazies too!!! Timing is just bad….too many parties, not enough bottles to drink…..Hahahaha….
When’s the next one?
My 2 cents from my organization’s (name withheld to potect the guilty) perspective… the Google and/or Yahoo, or whoever’s TOOLBAR is blamed for problems in both Exploiter and FireFox and is recommended to be removed. Explorer 8 is discouraged, Explorer 7 is still under watch, and Explorer 6 is recommended–even today. Also Windows firewall is recommended to be off — but maybe that’s only because of the VPN and other WAN systems.
Maybe virus/malware because FireFox follows WWW3 standards while the other does not. (Note some correlation to the blogware problems here).
FireFox has a new version out. Also Apple’s SAFARI for the PC is very mature now.
Not sure right now. Uncle KK going to Kauai and nothing in the works right now, but I will definitely let you know if one pops up and gives you enough time to plan for the keiki.

what do you mean by “mature now”?

Re-Playing night games or day games
With the presence of the swap meet, Saturday home day games out at Aloha Stadium weren’t a possibility in the past. Now, with rumors going about, I hope it happens that the Saturdays are open exclusively for Warrior football.
And maybe opening the door to having some home day games in the future.
The pluses of having day games for the Warriors is that it might make it more appealing to the family orientated fans, elderly and others that are day people…that an early starting time affords. Not everybody is a night owl. Not every one likes staying up past ten, like the families with kids and elderly. And by default, late starting games may eliminate these fans.
I even think walk ups to games would incur more during the day amongst the visitors and military enlisted. I think people in general feel safer attending a game in the day than at night. Even I would feel less vulnerable to harm going to a day game.
An earlier starting time, like a 200 PM , I believe, appeals to those demographics. And might bring more of these types of fans out to the stadium.
Even for the neighbor island fans coming over for the game earlier start times might make it more attractive, where they can return home that night. A late ending game may not allow for return flights. And may deter fans from coming over because it might put a bigger strain on their budget if they’re faced with lodging cost, too.
Not to sure if late ending games put a strain on visiting teams in finding flights back. But an earlier start time wouldn’t. Keep in mind that visiting teams staying over night are incurring additional expense.
If the Saturday demise of the swap meet comes about it wouldn’t surprise me if the school explores this idea–earlier day games. And if the school doesn’t then they should because if he they look at all the angles there are too many benefits not to ignore.
But aside from the peripheral things we see on the surface looking at how it might make sense in earlier games to John Donovan, UH athletic director, and Coach McMackin the school’s football coach.
For Donovan earlier start times affords the Warrior televised games back to the mainland more visibility.
Adding the time differences to the east coast and west coast, currently games starting at 600 pm are over around 100 am to 400 am on the mainland. Keep in mind, not every one’s a night owl. This is the knock on having the current home games starting games at 600 pm here. With a certainty earlier start times would bring a greater televised viewing audiences.
But envision how earlier games bridge a lot of the demographics here and even the viewing audience on the mainland.
There also potentially might be a rise in mainland subscribers paying to watch the game, especially of how the earlier start games are more conducive for viewing to them. And perhaps, also, early games falling in better time slots for the mainland viewers might make it more alluring for the networks to televise UH games in the future. And consequently this would only put more money in UH’s pocket in the long run.
Late games, I believe, takes money away and it doesn’t allow UH to reach it’s full potential in marketing and visibility. UH scores aren’t reported in early editions of Sunday papers.
For Coach McMackin’s team having a greater home field advantage would happen if there were earlier games, especially if the visitors are faced with the hot afternoon suns. For the coach and the Warrior team it’s all about gaining an edge. And the hot baking sun bringing discomfort and tiring out the visitor teams gives the team an edge. And more so of an edge then of playing the visitors under the lights.
But when you process all the pluses that an earlier start time affords the UH from all standpoints it makes perfect sense that the school taps in it’s full potential. On paper, fiscally, and on the field.
For the fans attending day games in the hot sun, sure, it’s a burden. Sure you’ll have to bring a lot of bottled water, sunscreen and hats, but realize the trade off-a little sacrifice-helps the team strategically on the field and fiscally. The Florida and Alabama fans do this willingly in helping their team. A little hot sun doesn’t turn them away.
Hey quick shoutout to LizKauai, always enjoyed your commentary on the blogs here. You gotta great attitude and spirit! Agree with you on your observation on Mr. Gracious, aka Colt. Met him yesterday at the Barefoot League event and had a blast! He was indeed a gracious guy and he was having a great time with all that came out to see him! I gotta say Davone and Ryan Mouton were awesome as well, those 2 guys deserve lots of props…
Take care sistah!
P.S. On another note, Da Warrior Jacks are tight!
Yes, there are benefits, but on Saturdays, people have to…
work during the day
take the kids to soccer, baseball, football games of their own
work during the day
coach their students at math league (ok, that’s a reach)
attendance might even go down, or be a wash
maybe Hawaiian Air can arrange a late returning charter for neighbor island fans?
how come marcus malepeai, tj alofipo and deondre powell are not on the hawaii roster?
Firefox crashes regularly in it’s attempt to block some of the unwanted, but persistent adware popups.
HAPPY – HAPPY BIRTHDAY MYKI!
Day games, didn’t a BYU game with McMahon start at 11, would be great for ST and staff. No deadlines, more time to write more stories, get more photos, videos, etc. Been a proponent for day games for a long time. It’s how virtually every other college does it.
re: 76. Yes, there are a lot of day-time activities going on on Saturdays. I wonder, too, though how many times fans have had to choose between a UH football game and a wedding, an anniversary party, a yakudoshi, a play, a musical, a concert, etc. I think it’s a wash; you’ll lose some fans, and gain others. Not sure which is best in the long run, but you can’t beat the exposure (both nationally and locally) that playing in the day would provide. On the flip side, Hawaii has the advantage of a late-night time slot for ESPN.
Roysan, we have been down this road before re SAT nite live @ Aloha or day…..it’s UHAD–something about the beach culture, projected noon traffic congestion, swap meets, soccer games, PPV and the like. Staus quo people thinking with horse blinders and special interest…..so, what else is new in this State?
All the negatives they could think about except creativity.
Geez, forget about what makes college football sense–the noon heat, making the Sunday media deadlines on the eastcoast, the college tradition…. creating an advantage for the home team.
It always made me wonder if only surfer Joes and soccer kids and parents attended the games; there was never traffic to deal with on H1; swap meets were the the number one mission statement of John Burns when spearheading the movement to build Aloha Stadium….well, u get the picture.
Let me say, if the rail ran past Aloha Stadium at 6AM in the morning Donovan would schedule games in the AM….and that’s the way it goes…….union mindsets, special interests and politics rule.
night games make the time adjustment for the visiting teams tougher
mih – there’s a solution to that – less popups!!!
roysan-
Your points regarding a 2PM start make a lot of sense. I wonder what Coach Mac thinks?
Hey mauiwarrior! Long time no see! Howz you?
#77. ur getting warmer, keeping calling-out 4 Marco….
shoot i was really looking forward to malepeai. hope he is greyshirting. we all kinda knew powell might not qualify.
#82-wf2
Very good fanny. “The college tradition of afternoon games”.
It would give the UH student attending the game a more of a experiencing the festivities and traditions of an afternoon game. And may involve them more. That’s a very good point you brought up.
i think malepeai is greyshirting. not sure about the others.
The feds have gone North of the $1 T debt-marker for the first time in US history and 44 States totaling $168 b in deficits, hang on to your wallets gang….and get ready for more taxes aimed at the middle class…..long live Title IX and $1 m sinkholes…..congrads to the Aloha State for voting smart and electing integrity and supporting the rail….take a bow, but dont bend over!
Debating if I should send a Warrior Jack to buddy in Seattle or be all greedy and keep it for myself.
The one in the package has a nicer facemask because it’s not all smooshed. Maybe a switcheroo is in order.
Saw the punter at UH today. He was drilling 50 yarders.
Jake and Luke Ingram took turns long-snapping to him.
A friend of Malepeai told me that he wants to grayshirt.
nice thanks. PIAA DS reports that she “thinks” malepeai is a greyshirt as well. she doesnt have the paperwork with her right now.
if a 2009 high school graduate greyshirts, does their scholarship count toward the ’09 class or ’10? IIRC the limit is 25 per class?
What would interest UH students is alcohol. I didn’t start going to football for the game, it was for the party, and along the way I became a fan. Then they raised the drinking age and started pushing the students farther away from the 50 yard line.
Sorry, I meant they pushed the band away from midfield.
Punting is a weapon and if our aussie (wazz he the one punting?) can punt it under the designated time from snap to boom. what is it 1.8? add that to hang time (4.0) and a couple of speedy gunners and we will see a lot of hands going up by the returners.
Local boy in Texas, Akina, is a proponent of the rugby kick and Texas used it to their advantage. Tough to get good field position off of a delayed punt that is low and bounces with unpredictability.
Last year we improved to #74 in punt return D, yielding nearly 10 y per return and one TD. Texas was at #34, yielding 6.73 per return and No TDs.
The top 25 teams in D1A yielded 6 yards or less per return just to set a standard.
Also, 37 y or greater net punt is another standard to set as a top 25 punting team.
Way to go Shane Victorino! Batting #7 in the lineup tomorrow!
Congrats, Maiawa! Now Colt needs to get some real money soon.
B5- welcome and thanks for sharing your experience! Kymry sent me a YouTube of Colt signing and I put it on the ES Cult thread before PC doctor visit.
Ok. Snack break over and back to the wessai!
PS I have to rethink my season seats if we have hot as hell day games. Yikes!
j-dog.
it can count either way. but it usually goes to the preceding year.
LizK,
After living through heat of the USC game, we switched over to the Makai side.
UH hasn’t scheduled a day game since…
The last time the Brit Open was played at Turnberry in ’94, Tiger was 18, nearly the same age as 17 year old Japan sensation Ryo Ishikawa who is paired with Woods….except Woods wasnt playing.
Ishikawa is called Hanikami Oji or bashful prince by his admirers in the land of the rising sun.
Weather forecasts for Thurs, Friday and the weekend are ANYTHING BUT SUNSHINE as showers are expected on start day and rain called for Friday and SAT until it clears on Sun. Winds are blowing off the Irish Sea and will be making it beastly for drives that are lofted. Looks like a tournament with all the challenges that make a better golfer….or as in the case of Bethpage Black–the better luck of the draw at Tee time.
Happy Birthday Myki
Happy Birthday Myki
LizK,
It was evident that CB was pretty distressed about his 5 year contract and the effect it could have on his future earnings. Hopefully the timing and circumstances will work in his favor.
Congrats to Kaluka Maiava.
….although when combining my two current posts, it doesn’t do much for bolstering the recruiting pitch of the Home Team 🙁
I like the current start times:
1) can watch most of the other CFB action leisurely from home (Cabana sweeping notwithstanding), including Wildcat action!;
2) gives the Home Team a better edge when playing opponents who are still on 3-4 hour + schedules. When the 4th Q starts their body clocks are nagging about, “Hey, it’s almost midnight!”
…and then again, it didn’t really seem to bother the Bearcats 🙁
Congrats to Kaluka Maiava & the Browns for picking him up!
Ok… after my schnack at Hamuras (came out of the PC fixerupper’s place, sniffed the BBQ sticks cooking and was a goner), got home and had a test drive of my latest batch of gimchi, rice and nori for dinner. Blood tests tomorrow morning so no mo fuud for the rest of the night.
Watching the tropical weather maps now… with an eye on Carlos- which is back down to a tropical storm.
Colomaohana,
I hope that you enjoyed the Harry Potter movie tonight! Lori and I really enjoyed it–we think it was better than the last one.
Al hinted at this a day or two ago, but I figure I should post it. If you look at BYU’s commitment list, they are having an amazing recruiting year…much better than in past years. They got the QB rated #1 by some scouting services and he’s apparently been calling the players they have been recruiting (perfectly within the rules), they got a WR to break his commit to Texas, and there seems to be an high number of highly rated recruits who are Morman this year.
BYU deserves credit for being the first to offer a number of recruits (including those from Hawaii) who have committed to them.
Free play link time. Please ignore my next 5 posts if you do not want to read the off-topic stuff.
The World Health Organization now says that the swine flu pandemic is unstoppable and all countries around the world will need access to vaccines for it.
Unfortunately, the fastest growing vaccine strain for the swine flu grows only half as fast as ordinary vaccine viruses, possibly delaying the vaccine delivery for 5 months.
Pretty amazing that this company’s carbon capture and storage (CCS) power plant has the potential to actually create “carbon negative” power plants. A CCS power plant using a mixture of coal and sustainably harvested wood could generate power while actually *reducing* the amount of greenhouse gas in the air.
Wells Fargo is *suing itself* in a mortgage foreclosure case.
15-year-old girl was walking while texting and fell into an open sewer via an unattended manhole!
Free play links pau.
Garret,
That was a “crappy” way to end your free links!
heheheh
I *love* watching football games during the day, I think that feels like college football to me more than night games. However, Aloha Stadium isn’t ideally set up for that, with the home team in the sun instead of the visiting team…one reason why UH is the “visitors” for the Hawaii Bowl.
One flaw in the argument for day games is about TV exposure. ESPN *loves* night games at UH. It fits into a time slot for ESPN where they do not have any other games to show…taking advantage of Hawaii’s unique time zone. ESPN would *not* show regular UH games if they were played during the day in Hawaii, and TV appearances would drop if UH played all of their games during the day.
ESPN has higher priority games during the day, sadly that is a fact and they are well aware about the ratings differences for WAC games vs. SEC games. The SEC’s next contract with CBS/ESPN pays something like a billion dollars…you have to take away 3 of those zeroes to get what ESPN is paying for the exclusive rights to all nationally televised WAC games.
Special games could be played during the day and possibly get televised…but even UH vs. BSU would be ignored by ESPN if they had Florida vs. Georgia or some other SEC game going on at the same time.
d1shima,
LOL! I cannot imagine how upset and uncomfortable that girl was! However, I’d bet that she would have falled into that open manhole even if they put up some orange cones or had a sign up. Of course, the fact that they had an open manhole with nobody watching it to warn people means that they can expect to have to pay some $$$ to settle her family’s lawsuit.
Garret,
Debatable whether she shares much during, “What did YOU do last summer?”
…although I’m sure it’s all over her friends’ social networks by now anyway.
HA! One of my girls walked into the wall at school while texting.
But no way she felt as sh*tty as the girl in NY!
No, but I think she left a nose print.

Really rude of me to have nearly forgotten.
Happy birthday to Myki!!!
Liz . . .
What is the PC prognosis?
Good evening to all! Many thanks for all the birthday wishes received today. I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting all of you but hope to some day soon. I feel it’s just awesome to have so many opportunities to make new friends at my age. I guess the fact that we share so many interests will continue to keep us on the same page.
Looking forward to fall practice and the beginning of the season and T-gating with you all.
Mahalo again!

PC will be breaking news tomorrow… wait… we’ll find out tomorrow. Whew!
Hi myki!!!

BTW, I’ve got one for las vegas 🙂
Very well said Myki. I hope you and sj had a wonderful dinner to celebrate your big day. You bring up such an important point about making new friends at our age. Ain’t life Grand!
Liz…
“PC will be breaking … tomorrow”?
Doesn’t sound good to me.

Arrghh! The blue flash is back.
What does PC mean? Someone’s initials? A computer? A quicker way to say Politically Correct?
Finally figured out who Slugger is in the real world. So what name do we use around here when referencing this particular blogger.
Busy week ahead which ends on a very special note. If you like free family-oriented fun with great entertainment and the chance to win fantabulous prizes, then be sure to mark your calendars. See tomorrow’s blog for further details.
Wassup with Tuesday’s interview? Who, what, when, where? I assume the Why will be to discuss football.
W-Doc
Davonne Bess will be interviewed
Slugger is the name chosen by that person for this blog. Seems only right to use it…just like we use your handle.
“PC”…all of the above. It depends on context, yeh. Likt CO could mean Colorado, company, commanding officer, etc.
Make it a great day tomorrow.
And to that great friend of many…HAPPY BIRTHDAY MYKI!!!

W/Doc ~ ST posted the fact that Mr. Bess would be the guest on his show at least 3 times somewhere in this blog over the past few days.
Slugger’s name was bandied about for week before becoming official. Slug bug serial killer, Mei Ling was awarded the name by Al. It also credits her reputation as a baseball fan (slugger!).

Makule Mama leaves some good reminders to following the blog so that you don’t get lost. I’m reminded of a few myself!
off topic.
shameless.
“Public-sector labor unions today offered to take a 5 percent pay cut to help with the state’s budget deficit, the same amount as the governor, the lieutenant governor, state lawmakers, judges and department directors have approved for themselves.”
to think that the lame duck gov was going to take a 5% pay cut while she was wanting to impose a 14% cut to the masses via her three day mandatory furlough.
and she wants to run for one of the dan’s offices in the senate!
shameless.
that’s just not local…..oh wait she isn’t.
Wait, why exactly is kaluka’s smug mug staring out from the top of this blog? And why are we congratulating him? I thought this was the Warrior blog. There has been no kid from Hawaii more disdainful of the Warriors than kaluka.
I agree with #145.
He has nothing good to say about anything Hawaii –
in fact he doesn’t mention Hawaii at all.
He seems disdainful of his roots.
Congratulations to Kaluka Maiava, I had the opportunity to meet the Maui-Baldwin High School product during the Warrior scrimmage on Maui, what a great young man, don’t know what the haters on this blog are talking about, Kaluka is proud to be from Hawaii, and will continue to represent the 808 state in the NFL.
I remember a few years back that they were trying to limit the people on the sidelines since it was getting out of control. not sure how many more people they would allow down there.
Sper ca am scris ok separatorii and stuff 😉
Hello, I got a nice tattoo last week and I wanted to share this with you. It’s a mean red dragon on my right arm.
Found the design on a very interesting site.
It is a tattoo gallery of more than 3 thousands tattoo designs.
After some browsing I found a very bad looking red fire dragon.
The design was really high quality and the artist tattooed me with no problems.
