Cut-off day
Today is the cut-off day for the Warriors.
As part of the new team rules, the Warriors will not be permitted to have long hair from today through the end of the 2012 season.
The rule was implemented mostly for safety reasons, partly for uniform standards. The NCAA is cracking down on dislodged helmets during games, and long hair has been shown to be a cause, according to some studies.
Quarterback Ikaika Woolsey and receiver Corey Paclebar will be donating their cut hair to Locks of Love, which makes hair pieces for children who are undergoing cancer treatments.
* * * * *
So, what were some of the more memorable hairstyles of the past?
I remember when volleyball player Jake Schkud, in tribute to UCLA coach Al Scates, came out with a reverse mohawk.
And then there were the styles of a certain Heisman Trophy finalist:
* * * * *
Former UH receiver Kealoha Pilares had the aloha spirit:
* * * * *
And cornerback Mike Edwards showed swag:
* * * * *
Some styles remain as classics:
* * * * *
And some are just all about business:

Days of our youth . . .

Offensive lineman Tui‘atua Tuiasosopo, who accepted a medical retirement two years ago, will not be rejoining the Warriors.
He was attempting a comeback.
Time to look sharp.
#1 Baby. Believe it!
Well, looks like no one is going to be tackled by the hair while running for a touchdown…
…for those who think my comment “off the wall”, check out Troy Polamalu…

I remember my favorite player, Leonard Peters, and his very long hair.
Check out this post I started on current Aussie Punter in College and Pro’s in 2012.
There is one guy currently looking for a team to play for in 2012

If Alex is found not guilty, we still need a punter for next year.
For all the former Kahuku players and North Shore lurkers:
Spent the evening with Mr. Gali who is in town with his ‘Ohana. Mr. Gali reminisced about his days teaching at Kahuku and all the recess football games he orchestrated and played with all the young athletes. Even squeezed in a few stories of football games at the beach with you guys as adults. Great stories! Wonderful memories!! Plenny Aloha all around!
It looks like UNLV is on track to get an on-campus stadium in 3-5 years that holds between 50,000 and 60,000 people. This is a huge project that will include some additions to their campus and is projected to cost up to *$2 bil*. They are getting the money from donors, not from tax dollars.
http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2012/jul/08/stadium-looking-reality/
Does Hawaii(Oahu), even have land in the same vicinity of the UH campus or there abouts to start thinking of a campus stadium??
Good morning everyone!
Last night while lying in bed, trying to fall asleep, I was thing of a cable show that I watched a few days ago. I was just thinking that one of the people in the show’s name was Cletus. Brought back memories of when I was young and the Boyer brothers from Major League Baseball were named Ken and Clete Boyer. So I started to thing of other MLB brothers of yesteryears. I know there were more but I could only think of the Deans, Dizzy and Vance (?), Joe and Dom Dimaggio, and the Alou brothers, Filippe, Manny and Moises. But the most famous of all were Yogi and Booboo Beara.
Off to golf. See you guys later.
morning gang!
hmmm, speaking of hair 🙂
Good Morning! Cool photo flashback! Memories…
My favorite all time UH long haired player was safety #12 Nate Jackson from Nanakuli. Pound for pound a brick wall, unforgettable!
Gonna really need this Warrior team to step up and play with heart (just like Nate)–out the gate against USC!
Sorry, can’t resist …
Hair today, gone tomorrow!
ST: hey, where did you get that photo of me and hubby?! Lol.
Now, he has a reason to read the Warrior Beat!
Funny, that we old futs (hubby and I) no longer sport that much hair. What a difference 20 years make, huh?
Thought I recognized that beautiful smile GIgi!
That photo was taken in 1989 on a catamaran, the Aikane. I remember now. You got the pic from my column in the Hon Advertiser, when Esme was co-editor of the features section.
What’s happened to Esme, anyway? What’s she up to?
Good morning people.
Hi mo. Looking forward to meeting you and hubs on Thursday.
Aloha Kakahiaka!
Good luck to Tui‘atua Tuiasosopo, in all your future endeavors.
Happy Hair Stylin Day, Warriors!
Good Luck to “the Kid” today who starts play in the US Amateur Public Links Championship at Midway, Utah. His first rounds starts at 950am HST.
Anyone is interested in following him can use this link.

Hair today, gone today. Mane ting everyone is on da same page. Locks and load baby!
Go Warriors!
I wonder how long it will take for the SA to discover that photo with the intentional wardrobe malfunction in the Pulse Photo Section. No wonder she won the contest.
Great Morning All!
Hair-y up and wait!
Is it Saturday yet?
Hey Goodmorning all….ST are all of the new warriors on campus? I know you were saying Dejon Allen was waiting for NCAA clearance do you know if he’s good to go?
Wasn’t it just a few short years ago that people were in amazement at Cowboy stadium costing over a billion dollars? Now this seems like at LEAST a billion is the going rate. Will the madness ever stop? Sheesh. 2 bil for UNLV’s new stadium? Colorado State’s new stadium expected to cost 700-900 mil. We can only imagine what the cost would be to replace Aloha stadium.
When will the madness stop?
BIK
GOOD MORNING HAWAII!
Nice photos!
I have a picture of my wife and friends on my honeymoon and on Aikane
Sorry to hear about Tui’s comeback efforts not panning out. Best of luck to you young man, and mahalo nui for choosing the home team. Aloha
I was surprised I didn’t get seasick on the Aikane. I was able to eat dinner without barfing afterwards. Lol.
Goog morning all! Getting excited cause today starts conditioning for my boys football, so it’s coming up. Warriors smash USC!!!
Good morning everyone! Move forward and make it a great day!
Aiyah!
How dat rate to be up there…
‘Gmorning Gang!
Trevor Wiseman has found a new home with Cal State L.A. Good for him.
Shoko: I googled Trevor Wiseman to refresh my memory of him. He was suspended earlier this year and then reinstated. It’s too bad he didn’t stick around in Hawaii.
Good Morning Gangeez!
(Insert witty “hair remark” here)
Good….this way we don’t have to suffer like when Colt Brennan looked like an idiot with his lame-dread attempt. What a loser!
The young Rockne kinda looks like Brashton.
Article and photos of the Football Camp Scholarship Dinner that raised nearly $70,000 is now up on the Na Koa website:
http://www.nakoa.org/2012/07/uh-warrior-football-camp-scholarship-dinner-raises-nearly-70000/
Gigi,
Yea, I thought very highly of him when he was recruited, but sometimes things to pan out. He should get some significant playing time there.
Tried googling Joston Thomas, but didn’t get anything on his whereabouts.
Mucho Mahalos to quarterback Ikaika Woolsey and receiver Corey Paclebar for donating their cut hair to Locks of Love, which makes hair pieces for children who are undergoing cancer treatments.
Wikipedia reports Locks of Love has received criticism for its practice of selling donated hair, rather than using it in wigs as the donors expect. According to the Locks of Love website, some unusable hair (bleached, highlighted, gray, or shorter than 10″) is sold to offset the cost of manufacture of custom-made wigs.
According to its tax returns, Locks of Love made $1.9 million from hair sales from 2001 to 2006, and took in another $3.4 million in donations. Besides paying for wigs, the money goes to overhead and other costs, including grants for alopecia research. Locks of Love sends the best of the hair it receives to a wig manufacturer, Taylormade Hair Replacement in Millbrae, Calif., which weeds through the selection still further, rejecting up to half.
But he Better Business Bureau 2010 report lists Locks of Love as a reputable charity.
So hats off to both the boys and the business.
bryson… ronnie fields will depart on the 26th.
ATTENTION BIG ISLAND TSAIKOS, BOOSTERS, FRIENDS AND FAMILY OF UH FOOTBALL:

Come one, come all for great food, great friends and lots of good times! Families are welcome.
Please post here to let SteveM know if you’re attending, number in your party and what kine kaukau you goin’ bring. BYOB!
Don’t miss it – goin’ be good fun just like the last one! Plenty of parking and a huge covered lanai area for chillin’ and grillin’!
See you there!
hairy…hahaha. a certain tsaiko once had hair that draped his shoulders.
you, Al?
Good morning Tsaikos!
Hope you all had a good weekend.
Mahalo to Mr. Woolsey & Mr. Paclebar for their donations. Their hair must have been long, since they recommend the donated hair be at least 10″ long. My hairdresser waited till Screecher’s was 12″ before cutting it to donate. That was the last time she had it that long and then that short.
funny how JD still looks the same as his earlier photo. Very recognizable.
So is Abercrombie.
But Mufi looks very different. Almost couldn’t place him.
Good morning, gang!
Good luck to Tui Tuiasosopo in the next phase of life.
I have a great photo of Royce’s do as cut by Shane Austin. The guys sported some cool hair.
al-san – a certain Tsaiko recently cut his hair… Another cut his hair (wasn’t too long but long enough) a couple of years ago…
Remember Keenan Jones? I don’t know how many times his helmet came off during the Sugar Bowl. And he has short hair.
ST: Has coach Chow decided whether or not players’ names will be on their jerseys? I thought there was some talk they wouldn’t be.
Gigi
No final word.
As Chow said: If enough people say I’m taking the names off, I’ll leave them on.”
ST: I think the names should be on the jerseys — it’s a source of great pride for the student athlete.
Shoko
He had a hot temper. Maybe the heat thrusted the helmet.
Whoa. That last line sounded like it was from “Shades of Grey.”
jm1411…i think i ran into him and his mom. he looks debonair and distinguished.
Gigi
You know the cutbacks at UH. That’s why they hired a coach with a monosyllabic name.
Well, gee whiz, how much does it cost to sew a name onto a jersey? Maybe the owner of Lanai island can chip in.
I am really curious about the new jerseys and what they look like. When is the great unveiling?
gigi…some speak in third person while others don’t.
hahaha
a certain tsaiko was once detained at the mexican border for hours trying to get back to the continent. sentinels of the mexican gov’t thought his back was wet and detained him for hours. long hair, mustache, goatee, asian-hispanic look, and a wise mouth did him in.
name or no name.
remove the individuality and create a team.
asian-hispanic look??? now you got me. Not homey?
the new set of uniforms, only one this year i think, represents and is symbolic of the new chow era.
gigi…you are doing a “whoooooshhhh!” once again.
I think jerseys with names will sell better in the stores. Isn’t that why Kobe changes his number — so as to garner more sales?
huh?
You can’t put a current player’s name on a jersey sold in a retail store.
really? how come?
hubby once bought a Tshirt that had June Jones’ picture on the front. Why is that OK?
ncaa rules prohibit.
a coach is not a student/athlete.
gg…backup to #49 and #64. re-read. then re-read backwards. then you will get the message, a subliminal one at that.
Good morning everyone!
ST — interesting “Days of our youth” pix.
A couple years ago I was assembling photos of Tsai-kos when they were in high school or their 20’s. Was going to put them unidentified in a web page and maybe have a contest. But I have only 7 photos as of now. Please email me your high school+ photo if you want to be placed on the page, if made.
gigi – your photo above is too recent–got older one? 😕
Al: I’ll put that on the back burner to simmer. I can’t figure it out.
SteveM: I’ll have to dig around for a high school picture. I looked better as a senior than as a sophomore or junior.
SteveM: Instead of digging around for a hs pic, how about if I email you a pic that I already have on my blog? I got one as a 22 yr old in a yellow bikini. Lol. Nah. I’ll send you one of me in New York, wearing jeans and a blouse — before the muumuu era!!!
Holy smokes! I had to Google, “Monosyllabic.” Neva have that kine big words growing up.
Buggah moa contagious than just kissing. You can catch Monosyllabic just by talking to somebody! Spooky stuff!
stevem…you know me…shy guy here. no like the fanfare, so please don’t post any of my pics.
mahalo in advance.
SteveM: OK I sent you 2 photos, dated 1968 and 1972. Take your pic. Lol.
Aw Al. This will be fun. What’s the harm?
Just back from brunch.
Al — no worry, I forgot what you looked like in high school… too long ago. 😐
stevem…for starters at least 50lbs ago. but, i am getting there. it was a bit more two days ago.
Got your photo’s gigi.
I’ll use the 1968 one –that’s a stumper…yup, pre-muumuu days. I could guess you in the 1972 photo on the basis of your hairstyle–which is the topic of today’s blog. 🙂
….I think I better go hide for a while…
SteveM: I sure hope YOU have entered your picture.
Seriously, that pic of Abercrombie looks like Captain Caveman, one of my favorite cartoons growing up as a kid.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YD36ZhpHPpE
BIK
good luck to Tui in this next stage of his life; Crusader 4 Life… 🙂
bik…is that a new cartoon series? never saw that one.
gigi- pretty picture above. All I gotta say is that marathon running beer drinking doctor totally lost out.
Al- if i’m not mistaken that cartoon is from your era, eh? Or just depicting it… =)
a-flirt…i’m telling a-slippa girl. behave yourself.
I recognize Captain Caveman and a few others. Who’s the guy in the gorilla suit?
For those who observe special days, today is National No Bra Day.
Several years ago while quietly waiting in my dentist office with several other patients I read an SI article about offensive linemen. The article came to a part about trash talking. I broke the silence barrier and startled the room with an unexpected knee jerk laugh as I read the following:
“When I played for the Bears,” Jerry Fontenot recalls, “there was a bucktoothed defensive lineman from Minnesota talking a ton of smack. Finally, I said, ‘Dude, when’s the last time you ate corn on the cob through a picket fence?’ Even his teammates laughed.”
99…
97… Is gg aware of this?
Great photo of Robert K also know as the Cookie Monster by Warrior fans.
Interesting story about how he got the name. It all started on another Warrior fan forum and it stuck like Superglue. Robert sounds exactly like the loveable puppet from Sesame Street when he gets excited.
Even around the WAC fans from other schools who listened to Hawai`i football broadcast picked it up.
Not sure if he is even aware of it.
Someone mangled the Hawaiian islands on Colt’s head.
Good afternoon Tsaikos….
#97 Jimmy…Yep…Noticed that downtown….LOL
A-Joe…just sent you an e-mail…. 🙂
al….Where is that A-Slippa girl anyway??? Haven’t seen her in a while….LOL
gigi,
dat is a very lovely picture of you in your youth. I thought JD was your husband..looks like cud have been.
Mctruck: don’t know what you mean by “youth” but I was in my early 40s when that pic was taken.
noticed hubby’s big hair? Nowadays he likes it extremely short.
JD is much younger than I am. At least 10 years younger.
Anyway, you guys should all participate in SteveM’s contest. Send him your high school or twenties photo.
SteveM: you need to announce the prize. Lol.
Well, what can I say?…still, lovely picture.
Anybody tried that eye glasses advertised on TV?, it’s called, “Super Focus.”
I’m interested in getting a pair…sent them an email to communicate particulars to me.
That answered my gorilla suit question.
I wonder how season ticket renewal sales for football are doing?
I should have said asked them to quote prices which they’re site(s) don’t mention.
I have never seen those eye glasses infomercials so I googled it. Not a fan of circular lenses and frames but the concept does look interesting. Almost like how a cell phone focuses when you tap the screen.
gigi- no sense. Stretch, al or Koakane going win already. Obviously you haven’t seen these men in their youthful days.
Lets just say Koakane’s yesteryear physique inspired Fabio to become a model.
A-joe: how would they win? The contest is to see how many guys and gals you can identify. I bet nobody will guess who I am. I guarantee, Lol
unless I am the only female entering.
what would you all consider a good prize?
I would say the super focus glasses are between $500 – $1000. But wait, if you order now we will send you not one, not two, but three glasses! That’s not all each glasses will come with an impact resistance carry case. And we’ll also throw in 10 reusable lens cleaning cloth made of microfiber!
Don’t hesitate, order now, operators are standing by.
Hey, I’ve seen pics of gramps from his high school days….He was like the Chinese Arnold…. 🙂
Horshack?
#119….Hold on….If you call in the next 5 mins, you’ll also receive a pair of our super focus sunglasses. Great for a day at the beach…or that special event you’re attending. It’s your gift to keep even if you return the super focus glasses….LOL
🙂
@(Jesse) James
Given the ultimate pitch man, some people will buy anything. lol
gigi- I agree. Everyone will have a the darnedest time distinguishing you from these three.
“Set it, and forget it”
“Broken! Busted! Everybody has something to repair. Before buying new, let Mighty Putty fix it for you.”
120- From Happy Days?
Or Green Acres?
#126….MWAHAHAHAHAHAA Just spit out my coffee….
BTW, who’s the guy above my photo? Is that June Jones?
No way that is June Jones.
GiGi….#128….Actually, that’s December Jones….A strapping young coach from the Ola region of Hawaii Island… 🙂
Well, December Jones, June Jones, April Jones — the dude is very handsome!
Was talking story with some guys a few years older than me at our alumni association dinner Saturday night. One guy commented that he used to sit in back of a Samoan guy during music class and wondered what was in his Afro. 😆
(Heard Stretch went to his class reunion, but only 2 people from his class showed up at the Alumni dinner)
James — send me a photo 🙂
Stretch & DPK too.
Koakane with muscles?
Darn, I wish I had the photo of Kekoa in his high school basketball uni…
From what I’ve seen so far, there are some intriguing photos that will stump you….
If get 12 more photos (to make 20), I’ll make the page.
Maybe we can pursuade ST to think of a prize….
This is pretty humorous. Apparently, Karl Benson (SBC commish), is up to his usual antics. He is proposing a 33-team Megaconference.
This is from a SJSU blog with excerpts: “Mr. Peanuts Joins SBC and Promptly Goes Apedung”
“I had very quiet inquiries with (Mountain West commissioner) Craig Thompson and (C-USA commissioner) Britton Banowsky to see if, ‘Hey, would you be interested?’ Benson said. “But that was dismissed quickly. No interest.”
Favorite quote:
“I knew how tenious the WAC was and I could see what might happen (in conference realignment),” Benson said. “The Sun Belt had options, and that’s what led me to have interest in the Sun Belt rather than trying to save the WAC one more time.”
Blog reaction: “What a tool bag!”
Well, here’s the bottom line – so far under Karl’s reign, the SBC has put documented feelers out to at least 21 schools, only three of which joined. He’s put out conference merger feelers to three different conferences (WAC, MWC, CUSA), all of which have been rejected. His take from all this activity? One baby FBS school (TxState), one non-FB Division I school (UTA) – both of whom he added to the WAC prior to his departure – and one FCS move-up (GaState).
http://spartanblitz.com/index.php?/topic/2057-mr-peanut-joins-sbc-promptly-goes-apedung/
You know, Karl does strongly resemble Mr. Peanut. All he needs is the top hat.
gigi…j/k…#128….the pic above you is of a young Mario Lopez.
James: nah! are you sure? does not look like Mario Lopez.
ST: who is the dude above my picture?
SteveM: you have to encourage some females to send in their pics, also.
Mo808?
Jm?
Liz?
Also you should provide us with your email address.
Current prez pic looks just like him.
But his fashion is a bit FOB…
…or is it FOtB?
I wonder if long time local Bett Midler reads this blog…
and will send in her pic???
🙄
Bette Midler graduated from my kids’ alma mater.
138…marlon brando.
138…you secret admirer.
138…from the land known for its oranges
138…if he turned his head a bit you’d see the tell tale rubba slippa imprint.
The “Kahului Kid” shot a first round 6 over (77) today which has him tied for 112.
Eh! Still get chance! Anytin’ can happen!
Charge ‘Um, Kid!!
149- Kamaboko kine!
151 – NOT! lead kine!
Howzit Tsaikos.
nice to see the merriment.
152- Dis old skool. Was Kamaboko. Lead neva come into play till layatah.
#138, I tink that’s Johnny Wasamulla. Tarzan.
156 – bwahahahahahaha!
Good evening!
Slick pix, Mr. Tsai and everyone pictured.
Hmmmm…maybe everyone should send their high school/early 20’s pix to ST instead of me. Posting one a day without identification should yield a lot of comments/guesses and buku hits. 👿
RE: #138
Unfair. How are we supposed to recognize him without his race car?
How the heck did Mr. Tsai obtain that photo of the king’s youngest brother?
Thank you Tui’atua Tuiasosopo, for helping UH in spring practice and trying to make the team. And also all your achievments:

Big Hilo –
Please call me ASAP.
138 he may have sat on your couch once
Ipu Man:
Um, Ana Tuiasosopo played for the Rainbows, and not the Rainbow Warriors. A lot of the ‘vets take offense to that kind of stuff.
Gigi @139 Ha! Should be fun!
SteveM, do you have deadline for contest submission? I need to go dig for that stuff in the historical archives 🙂
Guava, I just posted what the link said. It also said:
“Parents are Ana, Sr and Lua Tuiasosopo of Ewa Beach, O`ahu.
Older brother Ana, Jr is on on a mission and will play for Hawaii upon return…”
If I or the link offended you, sorry. I don’t get your drift.
SteveM: are you serious about having ST post one picture per day? That would be lots of fun.
Oh, maybe you mean Jesse Sopolu. He played for the Rainbows. Yes, I agree.
But I did NOT write the article. Sorrry that I can’t re-write what someone else wrote.
If you got a beef, take it up with Times Meat spokesperson…Jesse Sapolu.
😆
This rule against long-hair is STUPID! The biggest, baddest UH teams of the June Jones era (especially the 2006 and 2007) had plenty guys with long hair, it was part of the coolest image in college football!
Sad that it’s no longer allowed!
GUESS I’M NOT THAT SMART; I THOUGHT THE PURPOSE OF HAVING NAMES ON THE BACK OF JERSEYS, ETC. WAS TO HELP SPECTATORS & FANS TO SEE WHICH PLAYER WAS DOING WHAT DURING THE PLAYS IN THE GAME. I’D LIKE TO SEE THE NAMES ON THE FRONTSIDE, TOO. EASIER TO FOLLOW THE ACTION ON EACH PLAY. UDDAWIZE, WHY EVEN HAVE LARGE NUMBERS ON DA UNIFORMS? JUST MAKE TINY ONES ENUFF FOR DA REFS ONLY TO SEE, AND HAVE A BUNCH OF INCOGNITOS RUNNING AROUND.
Oh my bad, “…Father played DLine for the Rainbow Warrior and Kansas City Chief”
I did not catch that one either. Sorry, Ana.
Sorry Jesse.
Sorry Guava.
But I did NOT NOT NOT write the article.
A thousand gomenasais.
Good night and pleasant dreams.
Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeshhhhhh!
mo808 — no deadline. Not going make the contest page until I have at least 20 pix.
But, if I do not reach 20 in a few weeks, I’ll create a private photo album and email the secret URL to everyone who has a photo shown. Private contest via email then, rather than on the blog.
Ipu: it’s only 7:30 and already you are saying good night? Too early!
SteveM: if you make it a private contest, then people like Al cannot participate. What a shame!
SteveM, okeedokee!
I think long hair should be encouraged. I feel like its strong with the bloodlines of the islands. I realize safety and all, but long hair was really what made us stand out. If cutting hair translates to wins and less injuries I’m all for it, but I doubt it.
Coach’s team though. What he says goes.
Long hair often covered the player’s name on his back. I am all for having short hair.
And please keep the names on the jerseys. Otherwise, the players are playing incognito. No fun!!!
And ST: we are still waiting for the name of the mystery guy above my picture.
Hubby thinks it is Rich Miano, but I disagree.
Best wishes Tui.
P, P and K
Never liked the long hair. However having messy, untucked jerseys are a lot worse imo.
It’s Barry!
Good night, gang!
Oh, sorry, gi-gi, I wasn’t answering your question…
No slippah marks…too young in dat pik-chah.
Long hair is sooooooo 2007.
Out with the old.
It’s a new day on the farm.
BIK
OK, gigi — I’ll give you some hints about your mystery hunk…
Go to Photoshop and…
1. Add eyes like John Astin in the Addams Family
2. insert a very broad grin
3. (I’ll give #3 if needed)
🙂
Eh, I know you guys are as clueless as I am. Lol.
This is fun
….well, the eyes part might be more figurative than literal… 🙂
But he’s definitely in this video…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=syuxX4A85ko
191- Uncle Fester?
Great, now she’s going to think it’s D1
A-joe — no, that’s more for Bulla…
figuratively, of course… 😆
(tap tap tap) My foot was getting itchy. Somebody mention Slippa Girl?
OMG! Addahknowsports is alive! j/k Howzit girl!
SteveM
don’t make it so easy.
It certainly does seem to imply that it might be d1….
That’s what I thought when I saw the video. Hehehe.
Hiya jm!
Us picsha shy Guyz might never qualify for full Tsaiko status…
(Near 200 Without Spam…)
I’m getting sleepy tonight.
At least my #191 shot us over 200 🙂
K-Bay — come out to Cattle Calls, tailgates, etc….you’ll be able to put blog names to faces soon enough. No such thing as “full” Tsai-ko status–it’s just going to the next level.
Yup, this was kinda fun. Maybe we should send pix to ST for a “guess the young Tsai-ko” feature. 🙂
Hey folks..the following message is being displayed on Oceanic channel 6 (KITV). “The ownership of KITV has forced us to stop carrying this channel. Visit http://www.TWCConversions.com/local for more information.” Anyone know what’s happening?

Das what happens wen somebody greedy.
Thanks for the info, D1…
gg…you may be the only one who doesn’t who that is. i’ll bet any tsaiko who knows him knows him.

Howzit, everyone!
Always fun to look back at past “trends”. Some real interesting haircuts! Come to think of it, my hair was usually short during football season, but allowed to grow a little longer the rest of the year. I always wondered why my dad did that?! I used to hate the “helmet” hair, though… where we’d have patches of hair sticking up, separated by areas of flat hair. Gotta be pics of that example somewhere.
Too bad for Tui‘atua Tuiasosopo. Sometimes, things just aren’t meant to be. Best wishes for a successful future!
