The Warriors’ final youth camp of the summer is set for tomorrow — Father’s Day — from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the Manoa campus.

The camp is open to participants who will be in kindergarten through eighth grade this fall.

The entry fee is $20. Each camper receives a T-shirt.

Registration is at 7 a.m. Inquiries are available at hawaiiathletics.com or by showing up.

The Youth Impact Program is still seeking applicants for its free camp next month.

The camp is open to boys who will be in sixth, seventh or eighth grade this fall.

The way it works is there will instruction on life skills in the morning, then football-related exercises and competitions in the afternoon. Several community and military leaders will serve as instructors in the morning. UH players will serve as coaches in the afternoon.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided by several popular restaurants.

The camp also will provide apparel.

The camp runs from weekdays from July 3-14.

For info, call the UH football office at (808) 956-6508 or go to youthimpactprogram.org.

So much happening. Happy Fathers Day to all Tsaikos.
Lots of people visiting Magic Island to welcome back
the Hokulea and crew. Sunday, they need heavy bodies
to float it under the Ala Wai bridge to dock at the
Convention Center…
