    Like the look!
    Go Warriors!

  2. Ohana Hawaii February 7, 2017 10:17 am

If University of Hawaii football program don’t hired a Offensive and Defensive coordinator?. I will put my money to finish last place for next three years! Plus Head Coach Rolovich fired my his job!. 9 to 5 odds.

    Good morning Tsaikos!

    Nice haircuts.
BTW, Isaac Liva cut his hair, a good sign that he is ready to join the MVB team. πŸ˜€

    GO WARRIORS!
    GO WAHINE!

  4. haka February 7, 2017 10:28 am

Not even a snickers can fix some people….

  5. WarriorMojo February 7, 2017 10:54 am

I’ll take that stupid bet. $10,000. We on?

  6. boolakanaka February 7, 2017 10:59 am

Can anyone confirm what Lempa was getting paid this past year as DC?

  7. WarriorNY February 7, 2017 11:34 am

Hey, been awhile folks. Just curious, I read on another board that Fred Ulu Perry is going to leave the team. Is that accurate? Can someone confirm?

  8. Abunai February 7, 2017 12:16 pm

Some people was asking for Freddie Hollys picture and I guess ST delivered… Good to see some different players.

  9. Stephen Tsai February 7, 2017 12:21 pm

Does this answer the Ulu-Perry questions?

Ohana Hawaii, you should apply at the StarAdvertiser to write the breaking news on their Web site.

Disregard post #10 misread. Wishful thinking

  13. Obake-san February 7, 2017 12:36 pm

Whoa… #2 where did that come from?

From what I remember, Brian Smith is the OC and Lempa is still the DC. So until Lempa resigns, Rolo cannot hire anyone for the DC position.

Anyway, hope everything is okay with Ulu-Perry.

  14. H-Man February 7, 2017 12:40 pm

Thanks for great pics. Guys look to be in great shape. Is that Austin Webb behind David Manoa? He looks to be filling out those lean bones. Maybe a year away from making it into rotation. The DTs looking to be in great shape too. Can’t wait to see the D this coming season. Hope Lempa stays.

  15. Stephen Tsai February 7, 2017 12:57 pm

That is Austin Webb running around without a shirt these days.
Sorry about the weird blurry pictures. I had a lot of trouble transmitting and form-fitting them from my computer at work. I’ll try to do it on my laptop from now on.

  16. Da Punchbowl Kid February 7, 2017 1:04 pm

    Nice pics! Spring is coming!

    Prayers for Ulu-Perry!

    GO WARRIORS!!!

  17. haka February 7, 2017 1:09 pm

    Ditto.
    Healing prayers for Fred!
    Go Warriors!

  18. Ipu Man February 7, 2017 1:21 pm

ST, how do you remember all the players names?
Does Rolo go over your pics later to identify each?
Or do you have a pretty no-pay assistant who helps you?

  19. Ipu Man February 7, 2017 1:24 pm

And yes, prayers for Fred Ulu-Perry.

  20. SteveM February 7, 2017 1:44 pm

Ipu Man — some people have a photographic memory for faces and names. I don’t (which is why I can’t be a tour leader). I don’t know about ST, but I recall on neighbor island scrimmages, he is often handed the microphone for announcements/player identification on the field. The scrimmage jerseys didn’t have names on the back but he knew them by number or position.

Judging by the all the off-season practices he attends and photos he posts, it is not surprising he could identify players without numbers… or shirts either. πŸ™‚

  21. Warbow February 7, 2017 2:28 pm

#10, don’t think so. No Hawaii coaching staff followers on twitter. That would be a clear sign.

  22. Abunai February 7, 2017 2:32 pm

In that Defensive end picture with David Manoa and Austin Webb in the background. It appears that Austin Webb has a weird running style. But after I looked again it’s someone in the background of Austin. It’s just looked funny at a fast glance.

  23. WarriorNY February 7, 2017 4:03 pm

    ST,
Thanks for the article. Best wishes and hopes to he and his family.

  24. Akamai Okole February 7, 2017 4:17 pm

    Great Afternoon All!

Smooth sailing to all who may be moving on from the Warrior program.

  25. Ipu Man February 7, 2017 4:48 pm

Steve M. thanks. ST even knows
    the players without shirts LOL

  26. oldtimer808 February 7, 2017 10:31 pm

I would dismiss anything that Ohana Hawaii writes in the blog. Most of the time or should I say all of the time, his grammar matches his thought process.

  27. kev-1 February 7, 2017 11:20 pm

#9 … No, actually it doesn’t answer the questions. It actually raises more questions. Health and personal issues? Seems strange to cite both. Why not just say health? What is wrong with his health? What are “personal issues?”

I’m not saying that the public is entitled to know what the personal issues are. I’m just saying that people are probably asking more questions now than before.

  28. AllG February 8, 2017 5:16 am

    ST,

Any update on Max Hendrie? Is he eligible yet? Haven’t seen him in any of your pics

  29. Maddog50 February 8, 2017 7:27 am

I believe Hendrix is recovering from a non football surgery. With Spring practice about 2 weeks away things will get clearer, provided it does not get moved back with possible coaching. Changes-Stephen any news on Eperone Moananu-

  30. Maddog50 February 8, 2017 7:31 am

Should be Hendrie-big fingers along with some unnatural configurations makes this difficult at times!

  31. Slugger February 8, 2017 7:52 am

    Aloha Kakahiaka!

  32. Jeff February 8, 2017 7:55 am

Heard that Ulu-Perry is retiring from football due to multiple concussions and CTE…

  33. What??? February 8, 2017 8:41 am

#27 – does it matter? Shouldn’t we just hope his health and personal matters are cleared up and that maybe he’ll be able to play a little football come fall?
