Open and then shut

This is the penultimate day of this recruiting period. On Monday, the dead period begins, meaning coaches can’t have any in-person contact with a prospect through Jan. 11.

The exception is coaches may have contact with a mid-year recruit as long as he’s signed a national letter of intent. Mid-year JC transfers may sign beginning on Wednesday.

There are seven prospects on official UH visits this weekend.

The same repetitive questions does get tiresome. But hey, some of us suffer from Oldzheimers disease.

If you have moved or never said you reside outside of Hawaii, please post your city and state/country here on the blog. There might be other Tsai-kos near you. 😎

I don’t know if anybody mentioned it, but
Houston promoted and hired Major Applewhite
as its coach. They not only had an explosive offense
under him as OC but their defense is near the top in all
of college football—and they play Humphrey and San
Diego in next Saturday’s Las Vegas bowl. So, Alabama’s
OC not going to Houston (they wanted a Texan). Here’s
    the story: http://www.ncaa.com/news/football/article/2016-12-09/houston-promotes-offensive-coordinator-major-applewhite-head-coach

yes, I recall both responses and several local players committed only to de-commit and go to another school

when does Kavapalu sign his LOI? since he counts for the 2017 recruiting class, does he sign with the rest even tho already enrolled at UH?

while a verbal offer and acceptance is part of “contract law” it does not seem to apply to scholarship offers — what makes this so special?
