JC QB to help scouts

The defense received a boost with the addition of a quarterback.

Steven Hamm, who played at Santa Monica College last year, has joined the Warriors as a walk-on. He is expected to play scout quarterback in drills against the first- and second-team defenses.

Hamm displayed a strong arm and mobility during the warm-up session of the Warriors’ 75-minute practice last night at Ching field.

The Warriors’ only night practice of the preseason drew unexpected spectators. Fans who attended last night’s volleyball match were able to watch from the parking structure and outside the gate.

    Tsaikos,
Chance Correia caught me after I walked the dogs this morning and before I left for paddling. He is coming in from Maui for the game and has asked for the tickets, so they are gone.

    Go Bows!!

Thanks for the tickets, Don. Safe travels.

I hope that Hawaii can finish what they couldn’t do last year… They came close in beating U of Washington!!! This year, they need to beat U of Colorado!!! Need to beat a top five conference team!! Best chance this season!

  6. Tanman August 31, 2015 7:57 am

How much does the Rainbow warriors make by playing at Ohio State and Wisconsin in 2015 and at Michigan in 2016? We probably won’t make much at Kansas in 2016 since they are coming to Hawaii in 2017… At least we are playing someone different from USC, Washington in the PAC-12, we play at Arizona in 16 and UCLA in 17. We also play at U Mass in 17, is that going to be a home-and-home game?

  7. Ipu Man August 31, 2015 8:16 am

    Another qb—getting interesting, isn’t it?

  8. H-Man August 31, 2015 8:26 am

Warriors will win this year at home, losing a close one last year 12-21 on the Mainland. Offense just couldn’t punch in a touchdown, settling for 4 field goals. This year with Max Wittek and the rest of the offense, they’ll score TDs at home. Just need one more point than the Buffs. Go Warriors !!!

  9. mrfudge August 31, 2015 8:33 am

No longer playing Kansas since they opted out. Replaced by homes games against Arizona and Western Carolina.

Santa Monica QB. the connection of my Troy Williams 2016 scenario grows!!!! I’m all in

    6. Not going to factor in playing time… Just building a pipeline.

Aloha Tsai-kos & Tsai-kettes ~ WAHOO! It’s almost FOOTBALL time. That means it’s also tgate time. Mrs. SB & I have reserved Cabana A (same as the last couple of years) at Rainbow Bay Marina for all the home game tgates. I know it’s a workday, but the routine remains the same: early crew arrive/set-up ~9AM, grill crew fires-up ~10-10:30, eat ono grindz until clean-up ~1.5 hours prior to the game. Back after the game to finish off food / celebrate the WIN. Remember, everybody (locals and visitors) are welcome. The security ‘password’ is the same. Questions – email me at jboster(at)yahoo(dot)com. Hope to see everybody there even if it’s after work or after the game. Cheers, SailorBlue

Just want to wish our Rainbow Warriors good fortune for this season with their first win over Colorado. We will be either 8 and 5 or 9 and 4 for the season. Yes a winning season in a long time.

  22. Hilo-Warrior August 31, 2015 4:40 pm

    Good Evening Tsaikos.

I am taking this week obviously.

    UH 31
    CU 17

I feel we will put points up and that we will get some stops. Cant wait to watch this game even if I will be up at midnight at kickoff in San Antonio.

    Go Warriors!

  23. Don Weir August 31, 2015 6:21 pm

I will be in San Quintin game time. They have WiFi at the hotel.
    Will the game be streamed??

  24. kahuna August 31, 2015 7:08 pm

Steven Hamm on the team could also be a preview of how McKenzie Milton could work out. Don Bailey could draw up some plays that could be use in games by qbs such as Hamm and Milton.

A completely different look to take advantage of the qbs ability to run.

    21. CBS Sports, if you’re a subscriber, allows you to access live streams via their website. If not, the only other option is an illegal stream such as Feed2All.
