Warriors drop to 7, SandBows at No. 4 in preseason poll
No real surprise, given what happened last week.
UCI’s win over Pepperdine plus BYU’s split with SC jumbled things up this week from 2-7, the latter which pushed the Cougars up two spots as the Waves and Warriors dropped.
Loyola stays at 1, Lewis back alone at 2, SC at 3
UCI up a spot to 4, BYU up 2 to 5, Waves down two to 6 and UH down a spot to 7

As for the SandBows, top four from last year are top four from last year (well Hawaii and SC tied for third but)

Would you say Loyola is a legit #1 or is that more of a result of their scheduling?
I’d say a legit No. 1, still undefeated because the schedule, But still defending national champ with 5 returning starters, 3 all-MIVA returnees including POY Jaeschke.
Survived a scare at Saint Francis, winning in 5. Beat BYU early in four in the Stanford tournament.
Beat Penn State 3-1. Think the real test will b March when they host Lewis, are at Ohio State and host Grand Canyon twice in a 10 day span.
Anyone know what some of the pairings will be. Is Taylor/Tiegs happening?
