I wish to add one comment from the last thread.
A good job was done to give Dave a meaningful send off with sincere, humorous tributes and stories.
Shoji himself stated he was “ecstatic” when he heard about RAM’s hiring. However, Dave said current season ticket renewals are at about 80%, when a rate of 95% needs to be attained for the good of the Wahine vball program. He really encouraged people to renew their season tickets and for other fans to buy season tickets.

Kupono Fey will be playing for Biosi Indexa Sora in the Italian SuperLega. Congrats to him!

    1.

Sadly I’m sure people are going to wait until they see how the team does this season first before jumping back on season tickets.

Prep Volleyball has UH ranked # 23 in the The Top 30 Collegiate Recruiting Classes of 2017: Inbound UH Freshman Janelle Gong, 5-9 OH, Campolindo (Moraga, California); Sophia Howling, 6-3 MB, Venice (California); Shaney Lipscomb, 6-2 MB, La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla, California); Arden Misraje, 6-2 OH, Crossroads (Santa Monica, California); Skyler Williams, 6-2 MB, Mayfair (Lakewood, California

I’m surprised Hawaii’s recruiting class was in the Top 30 considering the three scholarship players weren’t highly recruited and two are walk ons.

Based on the tapes I have seen, I think this easily a top thirty class. Hall has an eye for talent. This is the type of young and eager group that will push the returnee’s much like what happened with the mens team.

    6. Agree. I thought the video I saw looked promising too, but again its on potential and Hawaii thrives in that. I’m confident Robyn and Angelica will bring the best out of them.

Must be a good time to be setters and middles for UH – getting trained by two of the best not just in the program but for their respective countries.
