Verona, Venice then off to play Slovenian national team
Not much time to write. Just got in from Verona had a short rainy visit. very cool buildings. and got to the hotel in Venice.
Heading out for 2 1/2 hour drive up north near the Slovenian border for match against the Slovenian national team. Maja Gustin will be coming over with one of her young daughters.

Just got back from Slovenia. Was told we’d be this side of the Italian border but things kept changing. Great to see Maja and her fiancé and baby.
still have a lot of writing to do.
Slovenia won all four sets, 25-22, 25-11, 25-18, 25-18.
No video or pictures allowed. Slovenia heading out to France tomorrow and coaches seemed a bit paranoid about any info getting out.
Match was very casual. no uniforms and just one up ref.
