U.S. junior men’s team takes silver

sorry, forgot to post this last night.

The U.S. junior men’s volleyball team, with two University of Hawaii players on the roster, was swept by Brazil in Sunday’s gold medal match of the U21 Pan American Cup in Gatineau, Canada.
Outside hitter Kupono Fey subbed in during Set 1 and played the rest of the match with six kills in the 25-22, 25-23, 25-17 loss. Setter Jennings Franciskovic subbed in during Set 2 and finished out the 80-minute match with eight assists.
Brazil finished 6-0 while the U.S. was 4-2 with both losses coming to Brazil. Both teams have qualified for the FIVB U21 World Championships in Tijuana, Mexico, on Sept. 11.

Finally. Can actually see the blog posts listed. Emailed SA to fix that. How will the Wahine be this season?

The US Mens VB NT & JNT are kinda hit & miss this year. What’s going on with them? Shouldn’t they be performing better or is it because they just returned to the NT in the last month?

1-2-3. probably because you’re posting on my blog and not Tsai’s

    4. Don’t think either team is hit or miss. Only losses by the junior team at the Pan Am Cup was to No. 1 Brazil
Only losses in World League by the senior men’s team (8-2) were at Iran twice.

    4. as to how the Wahine will be this season … I think very good but much depends on how quickly the newcomers adjust to DI volleyball.
Shoji will have some choices to make when deciding on a lineup.
