The true guessing game should be, as it usually is every year, is at what point will the selection show actually start? I say 4:22.

As usual they seem to always put together two basketball teams who are so evenly matched that the last 7 minutes of the game will last about 45 minutes due to all the fouls and timeouts.

  2. Cindy Luis November 29, 2015 3:50 pm

    so thinking that
    Texas in Austin regional
    USC in San Diego
    Nebraska in Des Moines
    Minnesota in Lexington

  3. haleiwacrossfitter November 29, 2015 3:51 pm

I think the NCAA will give Nebraska the cakewalk first 2 rounds and regionals. They want them in the finals. That’s sucks….hate Nebraska.

  4. Cindy Luis November 29, 2015 4:03 pm

    3. would not be surprised.

AVCA says announcement delayed for 5th place mBKB game on ESPNU

  5. haleiwacrossfitter November 29, 2015 4:06 pm

    Yay!!!

  6. haleiwacrossfitter November 29, 2015 4:06 pm

I actually hope we get Texas. I’m not afraid of Amy Neal!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. Andrew November 29, 2015 4:09 pm

    3.

I agree. Them and of course Penn State

  8. Cindy Luis November 29, 2015 4:10 pm

So, USC top seeded, despite a loss to UCLA earlier this week
    2. Minnesota. 3. Texas. 4. Nebraska.
    5. UW

  9. Mo November 29, 2015 4:10 pm

Is there anyway to avoid the kinds of bad match ups that under seeding creates? I’m thinking of last year’s regional final between Penn St and Wisconsin which should been a final 4 match.

  10. Andrew November 29, 2015 4:10 pm

ESPN just loves to replay the prior championship clips of penn state over and over and over and over and over….

  11. Cindy Luis November 29, 2015 4:11 pm

    6. Wisconsin.
    7. Penn State

  12. Andrew November 29, 2015 4:11 pm

    Op no host

  13. Cindy Luis November 29, 2015 4:11 pm

    8. Stanford.

  14. haleiwacrossfitter November 29, 2015 4:12 pm

    Shocker

  15. Andrew November 29, 2015 4:12 pm

    Let the east bias begin

  16. Cindy Luis November 29, 2015 4:13 pm

interesting 16 seed Creighton didn’t submit a bid. subregion goes to UNC.

  17. Bleachercoach November 29, 2015 4:13 pm

    Creighthon?

  18. haleiwacrossfitter November 29, 2015 4:13 pm

You know what?!?! Bring on the Cougars. Let’s get a little payback for that they did to us in 2013!

  19. Andrew November 29, 2015 4:15 pm

Yay at least we dodge Seattle this year

  20. Cindy Luis November 29, 2015 4:15 pm

you should hear the cheers that UH not at UW.

  21. Andrew November 29, 2015 4:16 pm

    19.

    Lol I can imagine

  22. Cindy Luis November 29, 2015 4:17 pm

another sigh of relief for not going to Provo

  23. haleiwacrossfitter November 29, 2015 4:18 pm

Man…I thought Harvard said Hawaii. Whew!!

  24. Cubicle1126 November 29, 2015 4:18 pm

so hawaii is going to the ucla subregional … possibly?

  25. warriorfan November 29, 2015 4:19 pm

wahine will be sent to Either UCLA or Texas A&M IMO

  26. haleiwacrossfitter November 29, 2015 4:19 pm

    I’m liking our chances, people!!!!!

  27. HawaiiMongoose November 29, 2015 4:21 pm

    3. You were right haleiwacrossfitter. Nebraska has a cakewalk in the first two rounds.

  28. Cindy Luis November 29, 2015 4:21 pm

    24. Agree.

  29. warriorfan November 29, 2015 4:22 pm

North Carolina hosting for Creighton, why not Hawaii instead, Ugh. North Carolina wont even draw 1/3 what hawaii would.

  30. Bleachercoach November 29, 2015 4:22 pm

I like being not being placed with USC, Washington, Stanford, and BYU…I hope we go in a bracket with unfamiliarity. Bring on Texas and let’s play UCLA again

  31. Cindy Luis November 29, 2015 4:24 pm

    well not UCLA

  32. Cindy Luis November 29, 2015 4:27 pm

UH vs. TCU Friday at Texas A&M

  33. warriorfan November 29, 2015 4:28 pm

Time for payback from that 1999 post season, Hawaii the one taking out the seed this year.

  34. Andrew November 29, 2015 4:28 pm

    Texas A&M

  35. Vbfan4life November 29, 2015 4:28 pm

    Yes Texas A&M site

  36. Astroboy November 29, 2015 4:28 pm

    No post-season for me! ๐Ÿ™
    Was really hoping for UCLA.

  37. Andrew November 29, 2015 4:28 pm

    First thoughts of their draw?

  38. Bleachercoach November 29, 2015 4:29 pm

Wow TCU then Texas A and M….No love for the BIG West

  39. T103 November 29, 2015 4:29 pm

Hmmm TCU, I’m in the dark of how they are… Any thoughts?

  40. ManoaFan November 29, 2015 4:29 pm

    1999 revenge!!!

  41. haleiwacrossfitter November 29, 2015 4:30 pm

Son of a gun….we have a great chance to get to the final four.

  42. HawaiiMongoose November 29, 2015 4:30 pm

    LBSU left out.

  43. warriorfan November 29, 2015 4:30 pm

TCU are tough at home, and beat Texas, but that was probably a fluke. I think Hawaii should sweep if they play up to their abilities.

  44. Bleachercoach November 29, 2015 4:30 pm

We need to shut up these politically correct SNOBS

  45. Bleachercoach November 29, 2015 4:31 pm

    Let’s Go Bows!!! Let’s make a STATEMENT!!

  46. Andrew November 29, 2015 4:31 pm

Well at least the committee didn’t give Penn State a cake walk to the final four this year. They will have to go through UH (if we advance) .

  47. Bleachercoach November 29, 2015 4:32 pm

Gosh they should leave tonite! (lol)

  48. Cubicle1126 November 29, 2015 4:33 pm

i like this draw. everyone in hawaii’s quarter of the bracket is beatable.

  49. jmy November 29, 2015 4:33 pm

How in the world did UNI get in? Did they win their conference?

  50. T103 November 29, 2015 4:35 pm

So anyone know what time (Hawaii tim) they play and what channel we can catch this on ?

  51. Steve November 29, 2015 4:36 pm

Long time lurker, first time poster. I can’t see the bracket yet (no ESPNU) so thanks for the updates!

  52. Bleachercoach November 29, 2015 4:39 pm

Creighton not ranked in top 25 AVCA polls. #21 ranked rpi…is Hawaii not worthy??? That’s Bull!

  53. Steve November 29, 2015 4:43 pm

    51. I agree. I am fairly new to the Wahine (only 10 years!) but I am sadly not surprised.

  54. OrbitalRipZ November 29, 2015 4:45 pm

Yea, to me! I picked the top 4 though mixed up Texas and Minnesota.

Think the NCAA [Selection] Committee did give Hawaii a hard look, and thus the Bows were sent out of the brutal West.

Round 1 is against TCU (19-9, 9-7), which tied for 4th in Big 12 standings. Texas A&M (23-6, 16-2), for the first time in conf. history, beat Florida and ended the season atop the SEC standings (over Missouri, Kentucky, and Florida).

    GO BOWS!

  55. frings November 29, 2015 4:48 pm

#50. It’s not bull. It’s a criminal conspiracy on the part of the NCAA.

  56. HawaiiMongoose November 29, 2015 4:51 pm

42, UNI lost in the semifinals of the MVC tournament and is ranked 52nd in the most recent RPI ratings. It’s beyond me how they were awarded an at-large bid with 14 losses.

  57. HawaiiMongoose November 29, 2015 4:53 pm

That last post should have been addressed to post 48, not 42.

  58. Cubicle1126 November 29, 2015 4:56 pm

HawaiiMongoose — i think the #52 RPI for UNI was as of last week. after this week’s matches, it looks like they may have risen as high as #44 … that might’ve made the difference.

  59. Hapaguy November 29, 2015 4:57 pm

    49. Hawaii plays TCU on Dec 4th 5:30pm EST. You can find the complete bracket here: http://www.ncaa.com/interactive-bracket/volleyball-women/d1/2015

  60. Cubicle1126 November 29, 2015 4:59 pm

    here’s the bracket:

    http://www.ncaa.com/interactive-bracket/volleyball-women/d1/2015

  61. Cubicle1126 November 29, 2015 5:00 pm

    where’s hawaii’s tweet? haha

  62. Hapaguy November 29, 2015 5:00 pm

We don’t get to host but I’m really liking where the NCAA put us this year. I’m predicting we upset Penn St and end up playing Minnesota in the elite 8…

  63. Bleachercoach November 29, 2015 5:03 pm

WCC got 3 teams…much tougher conference than ours every year

  64. frings November 29, 2015 5:04 pm

#59. We will DEFEAT Penn State, not upset them. They are ripe to go down HARD.

  65. Bleachercoach November 29, 2015 5:06 pm

Well like I mentioned earlier this year, ” If we are good, it will show regardless hosting or on the road. I have a very good feeling this year.

  66. Cubicle1126 November 29, 2015 5:12 pm

we knew hawaii was a real long shot (if not, no shot) to host this year, despite having a solid team. time to go out and prove the committee (and the NCAA’s “system” for selection) wrong!

i like the wahines’ chances to make it to a regional for the first time since 2011 …

    go bows!

  67. jmy November 29, 2015 5:14 pm

TCU will be a handful in the first round, but as someone else has said, if UH plays its game, they should be fine…Interesting potential rematch between Nebraska & BYU on a neutral court again…

  68. jmy November 29, 2015 5:15 pm

Saw the match between TAMU & Florida…neither team was very impressive…

  69. Vbfan4life November 29, 2015 5:18 pm

Just finished my bracket. I see a USC, Nebraska, Texas, UH final four.

  70. greenthumb November 29, 2015 5:19 pm

Wow. Good luck and geevum, UH!! Safe travels to the team and everyone who’s flying out. ๐Ÿ™‚

  71. greenthumb November 29, 2015 5:24 pm

Question for the math folks, I know the method behind placement of the top 16 seeds, but does that carry through the rest of the field? Reason I’m asking is, would it be possible to figure out what number UH is for some further insight on the bracket opponents? Thanks.

  72. Vbfan4life November 29, 2015 5:33 pm

#66 the rest of the bracket is based upon regional proximity to minimise cost for NCAA

  73. Ron November 29, 2015 5:34 pm

I really like our chances in this bracket. We just need to bring a “killer instinct” to finish off these teams that stand in our way. I feel that Hawaii has been “dissed” by the NCAA and the only revenge for us will be victory! Go Bows!

  74. jmy November 29, 2015 5:36 pm

UH has the potential to go far…but PLEASE no more set 1 slow starts…

  75. Wopurjaws November 29, 2015 5:38 pm

    TCU vs Texas

  76. Row13 November 29, 2015 5:39 pm

YouTube clip of TAMU coach Laurie Corbelli on No. 10 seeding. Just a quick mention of Hawaii.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ObQaYfIdwI

Btw, the associate head coach is her husband, Hawaii native John Corbelli (a former San Jose State coach)

  77. greenthumb November 29, 2015 5:47 pm

No TV/streaming info up yet at hawaiiathletics or espn …

67, thanks. Was wondering if there’s any higher/lower placement within that restriction; maybe that’s not usually possible.

  78. warriorfan November 29, 2015 5:48 pm

I expect Nikki, and the middles to keep playing well, the key will be Kalei and especially Tai. Tai needs to play well in order for UH to make the sweet sixteen.

  79. Bleachercoach November 29, 2015 5:50 pm

That’s the problem with this world. Being politically correct because of cost but not morally right because of AVCA poll (8) and RPI (26) versus Creighton not in top 25 AVCA and RPI (21) and UNI not in top 25 and RPI (55)…No sense even watching this stupid selection show ever…I bet Long Beach St. could beat a lot of these dumb teams….sorry so UPSET

  80. Bleachercoach November 29, 2015 5:51 pm

    AUWE!!

  81. blunite November 29, 2015 6:04 pm

Most stats favor UH except for digs (TCU has a 14.9 digs/set while UH has a 13.8) and maybe errors. Finish the rallies quickly and cutting down on errors will help UH.

  82. warriorfan November 29, 2015 6:05 pm

    73. Take a chill Pill Long Beach was a bubble team, that didn’t really deserve a bid IMO.

Wahine got a good draw, TCU and Texas A&M are very beatable and Penn State has been playing awful lately, looks like they have serious passing, setting and chemistry problems that UH can take advantage of. And Minnesota on a neutral court, seems less daunting than USC with the best player in the country or Texas at home. Minnesota struggled with a not very good Indiana team this weekend.

  83. PBnJz November 29, 2015 6:08 pm

Haven’t seen the whole bracket, but glad to see most posters have a generally good feeling about our chances and that PSU doesn’t have their usual cake walk. Would be great if the rest of the “Hawaiian cryin'” could be put to rest! Every year the moaning and ‘whoa is me’ comments get a little ridiculous
I for one don’t want anyone to hand us anything. We need to earn what we get…so I hope the team faces every adversity and turns it to their advantage. I’m proud of what our team has accomplished thus far, and I think they can do much more good! Go ‘Bows! I hate Nebraska, but if you’ll be, I’ll be there!

  84. Row13 November 29, 2015 6:36 pm

More TAMU Hawaii connections: In addition to associate head coach John Corbelli (Punahou ’74), the Aggies’ top player is 6-2 middle Jazzmin Babers, daughter of Dino and former Wahine volleyball player Susan (Hemenway) Babers.

  85. Ki November 29, 2015 6:53 pm

I for one am glad Hawai’i IS NOT HOSTING. Had they been seeded, we’d probably be in USC, Washington, or UCLA’s bracket. I like our chances this weekend. As for the Beach, hard luck. Sad that Janelle has to go out this way. They will definitely make a statement next year with the people they have returning and coming in. Go Wahine!! 1 game at a time.. 6 games left in the season. Chee hoo!!

  86. mo-jo November 29, 2015 6:55 pm

Must get by TCU, Texas A&M, and Penn State. Not hosting but better than being sent to the West Coast and the PAC12 IMHO. Saw Penn State against Nebraska. Hawaii has a chance if it can make it that far. Texas A&M has an all conference setter and All American setter in Stephanie Aiple. We need to be on our game. TCU is a sleeper having beat Texas…
    Go Bows!!!

  87. H-Man November 29, 2015 7:01 pm

This is a good bracket to be in and the opportunity to face Penn St. Just have to get by the Texas teams What’s the word on Texas A&M?

  88. darkfire November 29, 2015 7:07 pm

    49. T103 – I believe your question was answered by the link to the brackets. I guess I gotta take time off on Friday to watch live streaming on ESPN3. That’s where you can view the first round. The second and third rounds will be on ESPNU. The final round will be on ESPN2.

GO BOWS! Play like you all did against Florida and you’ll be fine. Nikki, don’t put your hair in the single ponytail braid! It’s bad luck, lol!

  89. tongo November 29, 2015 7:34 pm

Wow, we finally escaped the hellhole that is the west bracket. The committee finally gave us a break and did not put us against a top 10 seed in 2nd round. Though we got into a great bracket.

Think we can get by both TCU and Texas A&M – but Texas A&M will be tough at home. I like our chances. We often forget that the Big West plays great ball control and floor defense but usually lack the physicality. This year, the wahines have both control/defense and physicality to match anyone in the country. Go bows! One match at a time!

  90. darkfire November 29, 2015 7:36 pm

    49. T103 I like the following link better because it has the telecast times and media. It’s from the UH Athletics Women’s Volleyball site.

    http://hawaiiathletics.com/documents/2015/11/29//2015_DI_WVB_Bracket.pdf?id=3758

  91. H-Man November 29, 2015 7:38 pm

Okay, How did Michigan St get in with an RPI of 58 and a W-L 16-13? They beat out Boise St (RPI 45l W-L 22-7) and Pittsburg (RPI 47 W-L 22-8).

  92. Row13 November 29, 2015 7:41 pm

More TAMU Hawaii connections: In addition to associate head coach John Corbelli (Punahou ’74), the Aggies’ best player is 6-2 middle Jazzmin Babers, daughter of Dino and former Wahine volleyball player Susan (Hemenway) Babers. Credit to greenthumb for pointing out the Babers connection.

  93. islandman November 29, 2015 8:03 pm

So are the 1st and 2nd rounds on any tv or streaming ?

  94. T103 November 29, 2015 8:16 pm

Thanks Dark, appreciate that. I just need to find someplace in town that will have the games showing on their tv screens. What did OC16 do last year? Did they send up their broadcast team 1st/2nd round? lets cross our fingers that they do.

  95. greenthumb November 29, 2015 8:20 pm

86, according to darkfire at 81, Friday’s match (and all first round) on ESPN3. Second round on ESPNU. The updated playoff grid on hawaiiathletics is interesting but it doesn’t have the first- and second-round telecast/streaming info.

  96. Big Island VB fan November 29, 2015 8:28 pm

32 & 39: Like you I want revenge since Texas A & M knocked Hawaii out from hosting its own Final Four in 1999 just as Long Beach did in 1989. However, none of the players are the same, only the coaches, Shoji and Corbelli. That was 16 years ago and today’s players were only little girls or toddlers. I wonder, though, if Tai Manu-Olevao, then aged 5, was with her family in the bleachers (or at home) watching the huge upset loss and remembered over these years or Tayler Higgins, when she was 4? If those two remember, that would give them added motivation to beat Texas A & M. I remember the loss very well and blamed Shoji as he substituted a freshman in set 4 when Hawaii was ahead and she promptly missed her serve and shanked three passes in a row. Hawaii fell behind and never recovered. Her initials are MW. Anyone remember that?

  97. mo-jo November 29, 2015 8:30 pm

As of 8:30 HST no ESPN/ESPN3 streaming schedules published. Other than
    whats stated here.
    http://www.ncaa.com/championships/volleyball-women/d1/road-to-the-championship

  98. islandman November 29, 2015 8:35 pm

I don’t think the bracket says anything about the 1st and 2nd rounds being televised.
Only about the regional semi-finals and finals which are the 3rd and 4th rounds overall and then the national semi-finals and finals.

  99. doug November 29, 2015 8:37 pm

#96 hardly remember yesterday :). But Marcie Werts comes to mind with your hint.

  100. greenthumb November 29, 2015 8:38 pm

98, the link from 97 says the first two rounds will be available on the “ESPN Family of Networks” — look under the Broadcast subhead.

So that’s what, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPNU … any others?

  101. tongo November 29, 2015 8:48 pm

Host Texas A&M is part of the SEC TV Network and we get a lot of their matches even in So. CA. It will be interesting if SEC TV decides to broadcast it since the Aggie are the SEC champs. We shall see. And then again, is OC Sport going to send a crew to broadcast it?

  102. kahuna November 29, 2015 8:50 pm

I hope Dave let Annie go on this trip. All the team picture recently does not include Annie.

This trip also allows Annie to go home so all is not lost on this trip to College Station. Friendswood is only about two hours away.

  103. greenthumb November 29, 2015 8:50 pm

Row13, thanks, but credit for that belongs to another poster

  104. islandman November 29, 2015 9:06 pm

    100. Click on the link “Broadcast Information” below your reference, and it shows nothing but soccer playoff info for Dec. 4 and 5th.

  105. warriorfan November 29, 2015 9:10 pm

    102. NCAA pays for this so all players will be going.

  106. noblesol November 29, 2015 9:14 pm

TAMU has already penciled themselves in for wins right into the finals. Check it out on the top banner at http://www.12thman.com/roster.aspx?path=wvball

  107. greenthumb November 29, 2015 9:27 pm

104, yep, agreed, no channel assignments posted yet (not on hawaiiathletics or on espn yet as mentioned in 77). Hoping that’s Task One for the ESPN scheduling folks when they get to work Monday morning.

  108. OrbitalRipZ November 29, 2015 9:48 pm

As I predicted in another thread on this blog, the 14-team Big Ten would lead all conferences in the number of teams receiving invites to the Big Dance, and that it did — 9 total.

And as I predicted in the same thread, the Pac-12, which sent a record 10 teams last year to the Big Show (and all 10 won in Round 1), would not come close to matching last year’s contingent, and that it didn’t — 7 total. (I am a little surprised that Colorado was snubbed.)

As for UH’s nonconference season opponents, 2 earned the Automatic Qualifier by winning their conference crown (American and Wichita State), and 2 earned seeds in the 2015 Division I Women’s Volleyball Championship (seed 11 Florida and seed 14 UCLA).

On with the show this is it! (But first, the Big West All-Conference Team, please.)

  109. Bleachercoach November 29, 2015 9:51 pm

Yes I remember that 1999 Hawaii vs. Texas AM Regional. Wow, we had controlling our destiny 33-0 hosting 1st / 2nd round and Regional. The Final Four was here too…I know everyone thought we were going to ride the 10,000 plus fans to the Final 4…We were totally outplayed by a a very good 32-2 Texas AM team…That was the a complete silence in the crowd when we lost…And Yes, Long Beach St smoked Texas AM in the Regional Final advancing to the Final 4…Oh boy, that would be certainly sweet to beat TCU and then Texas AM on their court..That would certainly put that 16 years ago to rest that would advance us into the Sweet 16!! I hope that OC16 can broadcast..They are the Best…I will take ESPN or ESPNU…don’t really care that much for Live Stream ESPN 3 but I will take it over radio only. Go BOWS!!

  110. max13 November 29, 2015 10:20 pm

In the past a part of the requirement for hosting sub-regional is that the host site must provide streaming of the first/second round matches. My understanding is that ESPN only carries the rights to air regional matches & Final Four. Usually the Sweet 16 matches are on ESPN3, the Regional Finals matches are on ESPNU & the Final Four matches are on ESPN2. Might have changed this year, but I’m pretty sure first / second round matches will either be streamed by Texas A&M or OCSports will try and send a crew.

  111. warriorfan November 29, 2015 10:24 pm

Tomorrow if Nikki isn’t POY and Emily, Olivia, Kalei, and Tai not on the first team all big west, I will be highly annoyed.

  112. haleiwacrossfitter November 29, 2015 10:53 pm

We are going to win a national championship this year everyone! We got all the tools this year to make it. I really hope Annie can be a part of this at Regionals.

I predict the final four to be:

    USC vs. Washintgon
    Hawaii vs. Wisconsin

    USC vs. Hawaii.

I think our block will take out Ford and their middles. Abercrombie and Bricio will be tough stop. I think especially Abercrombie being the leftie opposite. But I think we can and will win this year. The race is so wide open and Hawaii has it in them to do it this year.

    108. Forgot to add that the one thing I did not predict was the shocking number of postseason bids the Missouri Valley Conference was awarded — 4.

Of course the winner of the MVC Tournament received the automatic bid, but the No. 2 seed (Southern Illinois), No. 3 seed (Missouri State), and No. 4 seed (UNI) all were recognized with NCAA at-large bids.

And as Na Wahine beat the MVC champ — Wichita State — in a nonconference match early in the season, what does that tell you about the strength of the UH!

This 2015 version of the Rainbow Wahine vball team has all the ingredients to make a legitimate run for the title; offense, back row defense, blocks, servers and our two middles, OMG and MAGS are two of the best in the country on offense and defense. Oh yeh, and not to forget our coaches.

IMO, TMO will be the x-factor throughout this tournament. If she plays smart and not try to power all her sets past/through/over the blocks, she will have an outstanding game.

    LET’S GO BOWS.

#91. It’s spelled MONEY. Or perhaps JUICE.

“Thatโ€™s the problem with this world. Being politically correct because of cost but not morally right because of AVCA poll (8) and RPI (26) ”

you keep using this term “politically correct” but I don’t think it means what you think it means.

Looking back, being on the road for the last 6 matches may have been a blessing in disguise. It has prepared us for the hardships of road travel and unfamiliar surroundings. I think the stars are lined up for a big run by our Wahine.

    117. Totally agree with you. Now cue Willie Nelson “On the Road Again” and off to the Heartland! Go Bows!!!

    thanks for all the insights.
too many to respond to. Pretty busy last night with story and trying to get to TAMU.

    Couple of things.
Shoji on UNI getting in: Brian (Gimmillaro) is going to be mad. I agree that The Beach should have gotten in over some teams who were under .500 in the conference.

Corbelli is not a Hawaii native, which I take to mean born here. He was not but spent most of his young life here. Punahou 1974 as mentioned.

OCSports may not go because of the cost. They likely only have the first round match since Saturday’s final likely picked up by the SEC Network.

Tournament not supposed to be about making yet they continue to use the ‘regional pod’ excuse to save expenses. While it looks to be cheaper to send Hawaii to the mainland (1 team) as opposed to sending 3 teams to Hawaii, I believe the NCAA would have come out ahead had they done so.

Sad that Creighton didn’t put in a bid, perhaps too worried about hosting the final four in two weeks. They were part of the San Diego regional. Would have made so much more sense to give Hawaii the subregional with who ever won that a simple trip to San Diego.

As for Mitchem, likely on this trip although not cleared to play.
Think it continues to be odd that people keep mentioning Mitchem not being in pictures when we knew she wasn’t on the trip where they clinched the BWC title. Those were ‘in the moment’ pictures but maybe they’ll photo shop her in at some point.

And can we stop using the term ‘haole’ in such a disparaging manner? Thank you.

    Anyway, starting a new thread.
