On the second team ws Adora Anae (Kahuku), a junor hitter at Utah.
Named honorable mention were: Carly Kan (Punahou), a senior hitter at Missouri; Kalei Mau (St. Francis), a senior hitter for Arizona; and Penina Snuka (Kahuku), a senior setter for Arizona.


Player of the Year — Inky Ajanaku, Stanford
Freshman of the Year — Micaya White, Texas
Coach of the Year — Kirsten Bernthal Booth, Creighton

    Also today, Hawaii freshman beach volleyball players Morgan Martin and Amy Ozee were eliminated in Thursday’s quarterfinals of the USA Volleyball U21 Trials at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif.

    Martin and Ozee advanced to the quarterfinals after defeating Stanford’s Chelsea Mohl-Shannon Richardson 21-15, 21-13 earlier Thursday to improve to 4-0. The Rainbow Wahine pair then lost to 2017-18 USC beach commits Haley Halgren-Sammy Slater 24-22, 21-12.
