Fans are encouraged to wear pink for that match.

G. Worsley and E. Irizarry on the radar for 2017 but UH also has a number of players they are interested in. As mentioned in fall, there’s a 6-8 Corbelli in the mix, would have at least one year as a grad student.

Thanks for the update, Sad to see Jasper go.Good luck to him back home/

I am very excited about the possible recruiting class for the warriors in 2017. Hoping they sign Gage, Hugh Hogland, Jaylen Jasper, and one of Irizarry or Adam Parks( who reminds me of Jennings) and maybe Mark Presho’s son Kyler.

Corbelli? Any relation to the Corbelli’s at Texas A@M?

Don’t forget Joel Schneidmiller. I still think Hawaii has a good chance of getting him.

Yeah, that’s Russell Corbelli, TAMU’s Coaches Laurie and John’s son. He’s a middle though I thought he was 6’6″.

Anyone know if both nights will be televised on OC16? To be honest, kind of lame that there is so few UH Mens vball games being televised. Almost want K5 to take it over again. Planning on going Saturday, but hopefully friday will be televised.

All the remaining home matches except UC Irvine night 2 will be televised according to the schedule at UH website.

I hope everyone who can attend televised matches does!! The SSC is amazing when it gets full.

    1. yes, Corbelli’s son from TAMU. Mentioned it last December when we were there for NCAA tournament.
Most of the names you mentioned are being recruited. Whether they sign or not is another matter.

    3. yes both televised. If you ever need to know about TV, go to the link below, which is the schedule. click on Details. it gives you info for TV and radio.

K5 is not going to take over. Besides most of the K5 sports guys all moved over to OCS

    2. I forgot about Joel, He’s actually the one I hope commits to hawaii the most, 6′ 7 and great all around skills.

did the wahine get any any players today?

    7. no signings for volleyball and most other sports. Their NLI date is in April. Only football and soccer NLIs.

Plus Hawaii has already filled their class for 2016. Iosia and Sibley signed during the early period in November.

Jaylen Jasper should be the priority recruit for Charley. 6’7″ outside with hops, hits a heavy ball, national team experience and ties to UH. But I can also see Penn St. being a heavy favorite with him being in their part of the country. Offer him a near full scholie if need be. He will be a go to guy early in his college career.

Not sure UH can afford giving a full scholarship to Jaylen but maybe 70/80 percent. He’s very dynamic, like Kim Willoughby was.
Would love it if he picked UH. I heard his favorite was USC though 🙁 I don’t think Penn State is in his top 5. He seems to be considering west coast schools only.

Rarely does any school give a full ride. 4.5 scholarships divided up among teams. But a number of schools are able to offer academic and merit scholarships.

    New thread up for Friday
