“LIVE ALOHA, STREAM WARRIORS!” Rally before Saturday’s Men’s Volleyball game. Please bring your signs and voices starting 6pm (hour before 7pm game) to Stan Sheriff Arena on Saturday, April 15th. We must do all we can to ensure Live Streaming of UH sports to places outside Hawaii. As of now, for the 2017 season, Oceanic Cable/Charter is not going to Live Stream UH football to the Mainland/International where the majority of our student athletes are from. Please support and if you have time, read the passionate comments of UH fans and player families worldwide why this is important. Recruiting, national exposure, alumni connections, and more! Mahalo.

That’s a good one. Not sure why our community colleges and even West Oahu for that matter are not included. Not only for these tickets, but for being a part of the support group for the Rainbows Warriors/Wahines.

I am all for honoring Dave Shoji and supporting his scholarship fund. Just disappointed there seems to be no middle ground on ticket prices for his retirement event. $5,000 and $42.00/ticket will ice out a lot of fans. I suggest making upper bowl seating free, or with a very nominal charge, for families, children, students, people on fixed incomes, etc. Dave Shoji is a big deal in this town. Open up the doors and allow fans to pack Stan Sheriff to create the kind of send-off Wahine fans are known for (Senior Nights) and to give Dave the retirement celebration he deserves. It feels like the event will only cater to a certain level of fans and a new middle ground for ticket pricing must be implemented immediately. I already know two people who cannot afford to buy a ticket and I need to see if I can swing buying a ticket on my fixed income.
