5 Wahine academic all-Big West; Digging those serves; 2 to SandBows

>> 5 Wahine volleyball players earned all-Big West academic honors Thursday. To be eligible you have to maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA, have completed one full academic year, have at least sophomore standing and compete in at least 50 percent of the sport’s contests.
Honored are Kalei Adolpho, Tayler Higgins, Ginger Long, Tai Manu-Olevao and Nikki Taylor.

Heather Boyan, who just finished her four-year indoor career as a middle at Western Kentucky, will play this season.
Ari Homayun, who is still in high school, won the AAU Under 18 Beach National Championship. She has committed for next year.

    Heather Boyan will play the 2015 and 2016 sand seasons while she studies for her masters thru the 2016 semester.

    Monday Jan 19, Waikiki Ocean Club’s Red Dolphin boat/platform. $56/25 adult/child, boosters $51/20. Shuttle boat leaves Aloha Tower Pier 8 or 9 at 10am and returns at 2pm. Bring towel, sunscreen and change of clothes. For details on payment and other questions call Stanley Ching at 2218532.

    4. Thanks Karin but think it’s already filled. Which is why I didn’t put up anything.
    Robyn had wanted RSVPs by earlier in the week.
    3. As I wrote earlier they are still trying to work it out for Molokai. They want to do it but have to find a weekend that works with the sand season.
