Did want to clarify about the Iosia thing. Ah Mow-Santos had conversations with all her players last week individually and the question asked was What is your commitment?
IMO Iosia may have found doing both sports and school started to be more than she wanted. Since beach travels beginning next week … probably a good decision for her.

something I learned today … guess I was sleeping through things … the NCAA play-in game will not be the Tuesday of the final four week. It will be the previous week at a site that went out to bid. hmmmm. don’t know if Hawaii would get it if that was the scenario but
Tickets continue to go “briskly” You can check what’s left online. While it does look like the lower bowl only has single tickets, there are blocks that were reserved for season-ticket holders. Those peeps pick up tickets today and probably not all of them will be sold so they’ll release those tickets later this week.

Yes, we have to remember that these women also have classes. Being academically ineligible, does not give a player game time. I do feel that playing beach definitely helps with conditioning and a better all around game. I think it helped make Taylor and Maglio better indoor players. Taylor made more defensive beach types of digs indoors and Maglio went from someone who I though was going to just be a descent middle to a formidable force in the middle.

Do we know why Mitchem left the beach team? I think I seen that somewhere, but maybe I missed if there was anything about that. Just wondering because it was just shy of senior night and why not get honored for the season?
