so close for the Warriors. If Cal Baptist had defeated UCLA tonight, Bruins with 7 losses would mean Hawaii would have clinched a home quarterfinal
Instead, UCLA held off six match points, starting at 14-12. Ace by Stahl gave Bruins the 19-18 lead and hitting error by Vaz gives UCLA the 20-19 win in the fifth.

Ugh guess the warriors just have to take care of business bruins struggling with cal baptist should mean UH on top of their game should win.

    new thread up

    8. you never know. That’s presuming a lot.
UCLA’s been struggling with injuries. Ma’a (back issue) struggled early, sat out, came back at the end to help Bruins win.
Matches at the Wooden Center, not Pauley, which likely affects the way the Warriors like to serve.
Also coming into play is how UCI does at home next weekend vs. Stanford and Pepperdine.
