by Cindy Luis on August 29, 2014

Things a little different this season for the blog.

As mentioned, I won’t be doing much live blogging since the priority is the print story.

Livestats are available for all matches at

ASU wins Set 2 25-20. SDSU has gone to its freshman setter Courtney Eckenrode, USA Today and MaxPreps Player of the Year

well ASU wins 25-14. UH won’t start for another 115. really? who made this schedule

Have no idea why they don’t just do what the men do , and have these non matches start at 4.

Ready to see the wahine, play smart and with purpose, and show a lot of heart, unlike the last two matches at the end of last season.

4 . meant non UH matches!!

I don’t know why they couldn’t have scheduled this for 7. and if TV has to start late so be it. better than more than a hour of dead time

8 uhfan August 29, 2014 at 6:39 pm

Why are they half an hour later this year? Should of started 4:30 for a 7 pm start. Dont the men do it that way?

It looks like Annie Mitchem is on her official visit this weekend to UH. The Irvine Valley website shows she had a tripple down and hit above .500 in their win over #2 ranked Concordia Irvine…. Impressive. She and Magill will be deadly next year

18 Insider August 29, 2014 at 8:06 pm

Tripple double^^**

It’s gonna be a long 2 weeks. Not good when your opposing setter has more kills than all 4 of your OH’s COMBINED.

Is it intentional to reference the previous and next post for the volleyball blog on the football site and vice versa? Kinda backwards eh ST? And still trying to figure out da ding ting?
