What a great effort by a great team! No need for hanging your heads. Everyone should be proud of themselves for a fantastic season. As a basketball nut I thank all involved with the program for providing months of inspired play. Keep those heads up! Great job! Represented the state and school like true champs.

Mahalo to our student/athletes and coaches for a terrific season. Now the focus returns to school to work on your degree. I hope our juniors decide to stay and complete their commitment and education at UH if not than I wish them well. I think Ganot has a plan to reload and move on.

Congrats to Coach Ganot, staff, and players for a great season. Coach is very articulate and more importantly, he has aloha in his heart. Doesn’t get better than that- and no fan could ever ask for more. Thank you guys for a great great season. You could have quit when the NCAA sanctions came out but you didn’t. Instead, you made this one of the best season in school history. This was a tremendous example to our young kids, as well as the whole. state. You did Hawai’i proud! 20 years from now, we will still be talking about you guys and what you accomplished.

Persistence and determination – Calvin Coolidge
Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.

The Warriors played with persistence and determination through a lot of adversity and still managed to make school history in so many areas. We, the people of Hawaii, are proud of your accomplishments and salute you for a tremendous job well done! I hope you will continue your education with UH; if not, may God Bless you on the road you will travel.
    GO BOWS!
