CSU quarterback looks good, coach says

Colorado State quarterback Garrett Grayson looked good in practice Tuesday after getting banged up against San Jose State last week, according to Rams coach Jim McElwain. That and other notes as CSU prepares to host Hawaii from Kelly Lyell of The Coloradoan.

WE GOT OUR OKOLES HANDED TO US BY A 4TH TEAM / TRUE FRESHMAN QB LAST WEEK @ HOME IN ALOHA STADIUM…I’m sure a “banged up” 1st team CSU QB can do more damage against our defense on the road @ Ft Collins …..

Def gonna need to put pressure on this kid, or he’s gonna light it up guarans… GO BOWS!!!

Grayson is a solid QB, but far from a great QB. More of a traditional pocket passer, so there’s not a big threat of what Fajardo did to the D.

As long as UH can get some pressure on him, there will be chances for turnovers. Statistically, CSU is a so-so rushing team.

CSU has been giving up a bunch of points the past couple of games, however, CSU still won each game.

It’s going to be a tough game for the Bows this week. No two ways about it.

UH is currently a 17 point dog right now. Seems about right.

it was not that Utah state’s 4th string QB was great, uh made him look great by their poor play.

This is going to be the beatdown of the year, UH have no chance in this game.

Rashard Higgins, the CSU, receiver leads the nation in total reception yard and total TDs. I suspect he will increase his stats against our porous defense and it will be a long night for the Rainbows. However, he is nursing a sore shoulder so CSU may rest him. In any event, UH as a 17 point underdog is probably too conservative.

Does UH have a chance to win? Yes, if CSU forfeits. The game is going to be on ESPNU. I just hope it’s not a blow out. Would be nice though to break the road losing streak record. That would be a huge upset.

There’s always next year. The hype of national letter of intent day. And, then UH’s spring ball and from there summer camp and practices all happen where fans wait in anticipation for a new season.

Fast forward to 5 games into the season, and we see a 1-4 start again. At least the hype of the off season was nice.

Repeat one more time for 2016 season. For 2017 season, ??????

When was the last time UH won a game on National TV? It will be ugly. Something like 49-10.
