Hawaii will try to match its season-best win streak of two tonight against Troy at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Who or what is Troy, you may ask? The Trojans (2-3) of the Sun Belt Conference hail from Troy, Alabama, and are wrapping up a three-game road trip here.
UH (3-2) is coming off a 31-point blowout of sister school Hawaii Hilo, in which just about everybody who could play, played. It was something of a coming-out party for sophomore point guard Brocke Stepteau; we’ll see how much run he gets tonight. He’s still coming off the bench, as UH is going with its same starting lineup for the sixth straight time this season.
For Troy, the top offensive options are forward Jordon Varnado and guard Wesley Person.
UH is a 6.5-point favorite over Troy.
