Warrior Beat: Countdown to spring ball

The countdown to the Warriors’ March 29 start of spring ball has started. The Warriors are wrapping up this portion of offseason training this week. UH’s spring break kicks off on Saturday.
Next week, nine former Warriors will compete in UH’s pro day in conjunction with the UCLA football team.
And yesterday, 12 UH Manoa students participated in the walk-on tryouts at Ching field. Among the hopefuls were Austin Antoni (Radford), Tristan Fleming-Nazara (Konawaena), Noa Kamana (Punahou) and Trey Larsen, who was on last spring’s roster.

Ticket office told me they go on sale this summer; but shoot me an email (if you haven’t already) and I will put you on my list to sit together with several hundred UH fans as close as possible behind our Warrior bench.

We are about halfway past the season that started after the last game last season. Hoping the guys are getting bigger, faster and stronger.

OK, UH freshman enrollment is way up! Now just go ahead and step up athletic fees. If they complain, well, inflation has picked up so its just the COST OF ATTENDANCE.. Lets at least get up to par with other schools gee whiz.
