The Rainbow Warriors leave today for California. Matches Friday-Saturday at UC Irvine.
Thank you to our Brian McInnis for the two videos below.

Got to chat with Beach coach Alan Knipe this morning. Always accommodating. There are very few MVB coaches who aren’t.

More from Knipe in Thursday’s BWC Preview in the Star-Advertiser.

UH coach Charlie Wade touched on the Irvine matchup on Wednesday.

Here’s Joe Worsley on what he expects from Irvine the team and Irvine the crowd.

Kudos to Vinnie Lopes for doing such a great job with men’s volleyball.

His Off the Block offers fans a chance to decide the National Player of the Month via a two-round tournament through online voting on the Off the Block website.
The online poll for the first round is now open and closes at 10 p.m. (CST) Thursday (6 p.m. HST). The championship round will be a two-day voting event with the polls closing at 10 p.m. (CST) Saturday (6 p.m. HST).

VERY surprised that players who lead the country statistically are not among those in the running (i.e. Patrick Gasman) but I think players had to have earned a weekly honor from OTB to be eligible. Of note, Brandon Rattray is one of the Opp; he missed several matches due to injury.
