Notice in the stats that Okino only played 1 set. Is she ailing? Or coach being coach? She’s been solid the whole season.
1. After Ross subbed in for Castillo, she played all six rotations. That left no room for Okino.
Agreed, she has been solid all season long.

served twice at 8-5 and 17-13. the last time she stayed in the back row until 20-16 when Castillo back back in to the front row. Ross came in for Castillo after one play.
as Hot said, Ross then played the rest of the way, all six rotations, which gave them an extra 3-meter attack. The main serving sub then became Gong.
Agree Rika has been solid but sometimes it’s a numbers game. Not sure about the comment of “coach being coach.’ Ultimately it is the coach’s decision.
