Two fun facts about rush end Kaimana Padello:
> Seven of his 11 tackles have been for lost yardage.
> He played all 86 defensive snaps in the quintuple-overtime victory over San Jose State.
“He’s the hardest worker on the team,” said Jacob Yoro, who coaches the rush ends. “I don’t think anybody can argue that.”

I have a soft spot for the Athletics.
They drafted Isaac Omura.
Had a player like Omura succeeded, a guy without traditional metrics, I think somebody would have taken a chance on Kaeo Aliviado.
Hawaii had no power. Aliviado sacrificed batting average for home runs. He overcompensated for the good of the team. I think Aliviado had the potential to bat over .300 if he didn’t have to worry about driving in runs.
