USA men’s volleyball team coming, UH beach camps, clinics

The U.S. men’s national volleyball team, with three former Hawaii prep products on the roster, will be on Oahu July 23-28.
On the team are three players from the 2016 Olympic team that took the bronze medal: Micah Christenson (Kamehameha), Erik Shoji (Punahou) and Kawika Shoji (‘Iolani).
Training camp is July 23-26, 9 a.m.-noon, at Punahou
Open to the public, not admission charge

July 27, 7 p.m., Kamehameha’s Kekuhaupio
July 28, 7 p.m., Moanalua High.

Also, van Tilburg tried out for Dutch national team, did not make the team.
