gametracker is working.
call reversed. It is 18-16. UCI now up 21-16. to UCSD
UCI wins 25-18.
Tritons hanging in but UCI is playing well. ‘Eaters up 15-13 at the TTO.
much as in Set 1, UCI pulling away after the TTO. It’s 17-13. TO UCI
UCI takes Set 2 25-18.
UCI finishes sweep 25-16. Anteaters face Warriors Friday at 2 p.m HST
Karl Apfelbach from Irvine was interviewed after the match and was asked his thought about the chances of beating Hawaii and he said they’re up to it. They really want it! So the Rainbow Warriors had better be ready to compete with a talented and determined team. Go Bows!
10. teams split in Honolulu. It will come down, as always, to the serve and pass game.
everyone expecting a good match. As the UCSD coach said, a coin flip.

live stat link for UCSB-CSUN above.
CSUN wins Set 1, 25-18
CSUN wins set 2 30-28. UCSB blew several chances to tie up the set. Still, can’t rule out UCSB altogether.
UCSB up 5-0 in the third set. CSUN calls timeout.
UCSB is up 10-1 in the third set. CSUN calls second timeout. Chavers is really helping UCSB.
UCSB whops CSUN in the third set 25-12! What a turnaround! I knew that UCSB couldn’t be ruled out. It will be interesting to see how CSUN responds in the fourth set.
CSUN wins fourth set 28-26. Again, UCSB missed golden opportunities to win the fourth set. Now the question is whom do we root to win, Long Beach or CSUN? UH lost twice to CSUN and split with Long Beach. On the other hand, the latter will play at home. ,Still, for an at-large berth, it would be better for Long Beach to beat CSUN. But first we need to defeat Irvine, then worry about who will win the second semifinal.
#18 – the pundits are saying that LB is in regardless of whether or not they get the automatic bid. If someone other that UH or LB wins the tournament, it’s highly unlikely that UH will get an at-large. UH is in control of its fate. JUST WIN, BABY!
GO WARRIORS!!
GO WAHINE!!
I think the scenario is pretty simple for UH. If Saturday’s matchup is LB v UH….both are in regardless of who wins. If UH wins Friday but CSUN beat LB then we need to beat CSUN on Saturday to get in. If UH loses to Irvine, we out for sure.
20 agree pretty much Beach is in regardless of how they do
CSUN wins 25-18 30-28 12-25 28-26
Over in the MPSF it will be UCLA and BYU in Saturday’s final Think both are in the NCAA tourney
In the MIVA it will be Ohio state and Loyola on Saturday
In the EIVA it is Princeton vs Harvard on Saturday
Conference Carolinas semifinals
Barton v Mt Olive, King v Belmont abbey
Thanks Cindy.
If they win, VERSUS UCI, they’ll meet either Long Beach State or CSUN.
FOR the championship Big West title.
