Is anyone getting the mainland stream yet? Nothing showing yet on my end.
Game On for a past Bows baseball game showing instead of beach volleyball.
OK. Just took another look at Cindy’s post and figured the correct time for streaming here where I’m at.
match started at 4 p.m. HST
As mentioned
TV coverage at 7 p.m. HST
Flt 5 UH in sweep
Zalopany-Dreeuws def. Havers-Schmidt, 21-15, 21-16
The pairings according to GameTracker
Kan-Weaver slated at No. 2
Schucht-Maglio at No. 1
not sure why but Martin paired with Luyties at No. 3, not Monkhouse
Homayun-Ozee at No. 4
A big thank you to SID Neal Iwamoto. I am unable to go to the beach match today
Monkhouse is in Canada for a national team thing.
Also, a win by Ka’iwi Schucht tonight makes her the all-time leader in dual match wins (73) passing Nikki Taylor. Taylor is the leader in overall wins (205)
Another good opportunity for Luyties. If she plays like Sunday. Going give coach Hall some tough choices. Still want to see Bunn in action.
It’s the Canadian World University trials. I believe Maglio declined to attend because of school and Beach commitments.
I was surprised Luyties wasn’t in the lineup before Dreeuws. Both solid though.
Hall big on chemistry. Zalopany and Dreeuws have been clicking
UH up 2-0 Homayun-Oazee win at Flt 4, 21-9, 21-8
SandBows clinch dual with win at Flt3
Martin-Luyties 21-12, 21-16
UH 6es (Fitterer and Huddleston) also won.
12. thanks. never got a score tho
Kan Weaver up 1-0, 21-17; trailing in Set 2 12-9
Flight 2 going 3. Kan-Weaver were down 20-17 and rallied to tie at 20. UH had match points but couldn’t close, losing on a dig-kill by Albrecht 25-23.
Kan-Weaver lose 15-13.
Maglio-Schucht up 21-6, looking like Schucht becomes UH’s all-time dual wins leader (73) passing Nikki Taylor.
Flight 1 going to 3 after Huskers win 21-19
UH wins 15-12
So glad Mags will play her senior year next year.
I bet with Ari.
19. I wouldn’t bet on anything this far out.
Nice to be able to watch the Sandbows play again. Will be heading to Sacramento next weekend to watch them play in person, esp. vs. LBSU & Cal Poly. Should be good.
Announcers said she committed for next season. I think having Greeley staying for grad school also really helped.
Curious how Taylor has so many more total wins than Schucht. Did she play in a lot more pairs tourneys (non-duel formats)?
Kan/Weaver look they are better suited at the 3 spot instead of 2.
Kan/weaver look fine at the 1 IMO and have gotten some big wins.
Rather get for sure wins at 2 and 3 and the toss up be at the ones.
6 & 23: I think Taylor has 105 overall wins, not 205 — unless I read the record book wrong. I think the 205 is a typo.
26. Thanks. That makes a little more sense
26. thanks the 206 was from UH and I did not check that night.
