Mol is on the sidelines, not warming up. I don’t know if he’s been cleared. If he gets in my guess is it will be as a serving sub but he’ll not do a jump serve just his flat footed beach wounded duck serve which is very effective. Solbrig will be starting.

Great that they could pull off a victory without Hendrik Mol. So they celebrated a block party in the fifth set. Is there a chance that Mol will play as a reserve on Thursday against Ohio State if the team needs a lift?
TBH I was nervous for Solbrig coming in not b/c he’s not a good player, but just b/c Mol has been in for 99% of the season. REALLY glad he had a good game, helped with blocking and good that Gasman got some points from the middle. Glad also that Matautia had an awesome match! We need to keep our serves in and play with fire from the get go! Can’t wait for Thursday!

Our depth really paid off. Austin and Dalton stepped right in when needed. Very good coaching. A little scary for the first 3 games but 4 and 5 were the kind I like. not close!

It was kinda sad to see such a HUGE arena and it being empty. Kanoa & Chris was mentioning that Ohio St just finished school today, so not a lot of people on campus to come out to see their own home team play cuz they would be leaving back home for summer. I mean I get for the most part why NCAA chooses sights up there, travel cost effectiveness etc etc but kinda junk when it isn’t this packed out arena. Anyway, good win, they had to grind it out, hope they play lights out starting from first serve on Thursday! Anyone watch Ohio play any games this season?

I always am an advocate for wherever the tournament is played, it MUST have the capabilities of replay, I don’t understand why that isn’t standard. Th eonly places that CAN apply to be host sites, MUST have that capabilitiy.
