    GO WARRIORS!!!

  3. M L Warrior July 9, 2016 9:29 am

    Nope 2nd and 3rd…

  4. A-House July 9, 2016 9:35 am

does pushing weighted sleighs damage the turf?

they leave definite marks on the field

  5. Stephen Tsai July 9, 2016 9:35 am

    ML Warrior
The guy in picture #9 looks like a different player this summer.

  6. Stephen Tsai July 9, 2016 9:37 am

    A-House:
The sleds are on runners, so they’re OK for the turf. I think.

  7. A-House July 9, 2016 9:39 am

while there are many reasons to cheer UH — perhaps 2016 will be most noted for the legislature passing and the Gov signing the bill to grant $$$ to cover travel expenses thus freeing boku bucks to spend elsewhere.

hope this is a recurring item in future legislative funding – or, UH must go back in future years to “beg” for travel $$$?

    A-House:
The medicine-ball toss is designed to work on explosiveness. The goal is to fire out of a stance into a sprint.

  9. A-House July 9, 2016 9:41 am

    ST:

hope so because a drop of water, over time, will crack concrete or a rock.

    OK, back to work

  10. Stephen Tsai July 9, 2016 9:47 am

    A-House:
Much credit goes to Matlin. One of his hires was an assistant with strong lobbying ties.

  11. Razz MacTackle July 9, 2016 9:48 am

Big shout out from Hibachi Talk. Check out the video.

  12. WarriorNY July 9, 2016 9:59 am

Can someone tell me… Does this team look ahead of where it was last year at this point?

  13. WarriorNY July 9, 2016 10:03 am

Also, would we be able to install a program for ipads or laptops so that kids can learn the playbook quicker? Or do they already have that? It doesn’t have to be an ipad it can be a genereric tablet…
Or who knows maybe Tim Cook can just donate some…

  14. H-Man July 9, 2016 10:09 am

The O-linemen seem to be in good shape. Nice to see pics of Matt Norman, JR Hensley, Luke Clements and Austin Webb.

  15. Stephen Tsai July 9, 2016 10:26 am

    WarriorNY
I think they’re working on trying to get Surface tablets.
It’ll be helpful in learning plays … and playing Pokemon Go.

  16. st. anthony trojan July 9, 2016 11:01 am

seems like ewaliko as pretty darn fast compared to the rest of those in video…or was it the second bounce ?

  17. BigFan July 9, 2016 1:38 pm

ST, re: #10: Was the bill that A-House referring to passed because of the assistant’s lobbying or because of Laura Beeman? Your paper had given kudo’s to Beeman for changing the Gov’s thinking.

  18. burro sabio July 9, 2016 1:51 pm

#16 – need as many as possible to lobby and testify. They won’t listen to just 1 person.

  19. dreamcitymike July 9, 2016 3:31 pm

Players seem to be working hard from the pics… can’t wait for season to start! Keep on keeping on Warriors!

  20. A-House July 9, 2016 3:59 pm

I hope UHAD goes back to including a “comp” coupon with the football season tickets

gives the women’s BB team a free admission ticket for an entire girls BB team to visit the The Stanley and mingle with the current Na Wahine team players

most football season ticket holders would NOT use the coupon – heck a win win situation!!

  21. H-Man July 9, 2016 4:04 pm

The Gov is a politician and wants to get re-elected. So what did it cost him? A mere $3 million from the State’s annual operating budget of $13.7 Billion. And he won some fans for being a “nice guy.”

  22. Na Alii Pride July 9, 2016 4:40 pm

#10 ST – is this new assistant the person that took McNamara’s place? Who is he/she?

  23. Stephen Tsai July 9, 2016 5:22 pm

    Na Alii
    Joel Matsunaga

  24. Da Punchbowl Kid July 9, 2016 6:22 pm

The ball/sprint drill looks like a new and very effective training technique. Keelan continues to impress.

Warrior NY – they look like they’re ahead to me. We’ll see…

  25. 808warriorfan July 9, 2016 7:12 pm

Congrats to Mr & Mrs Jason Cvercko … a long and happy life together

  26. amela July 9, 2016 7:18 pm

Don’t need to re-elect Ige, we already got the money.

  27. Spartan01 July 9, 2016 8:07 pm

I Remember the four Padello brothers. Ray being the eldest, i lost contact when we moved. Yep Ray was the defensive beast. Others(brothers) offensive generals.
