Warriors go camping; another T-shirt contest

The talent search intensifies this weekend with the Warriors sending four assistant coaches to one of the premier camps in Southern California.

Prime Time Polynesian is the host of The Kumite 2016.

Tomorrow, UH and Nebraska coaches team up for a camp in Calabasas, Calif.

The Warriors then will participate in this coming week’s GPA College Showcase on their campus before heading to Australia for a camp.

A wise man once said “don’t count the days make the days count” for us fans it’s almost impossible not to count the days… Excitement is in the air and the vibe surely feels different than previous years at least for me.

Don’t understand the negatives on the new QB signee. He hasn’t taken a snap yet, give the guy a chance. Based on the video highlights he does have an extra gear throwing, looks like a heavy spiral with zip. Hey, Drew Brees is only 6 feet even and does fine navigating over and around all of those 6′ 5″, 6′ 6″ & 6′ 7″ giants.

Top of the seventh: Utah is up 3-1 on Boston College with a runner on second. The head coach puts in a middle reliever with a 9.43 ERA. It’s like he is trying to lose on purpose. Utah is going to lose this game.

What about the Noa boy from Punahou? The receiver? What of him? Anybody know?

  24. justsomeguy June 4, 2016 4:43 pm

I’d like to agree with you Willie. Give the kid a chance, even if he is short. This is why you have 5-7 QBs on roster. Let them fight for it. That being said, Drew Brees is a once in a generation player, he’s not a standard. Also, it should be pointed out, that the Saints offensive blocking scheme is designed specifically with Drew’s height in mind.

Give my kid a shirt! I need to rep this shirt up in NorCal so the potential recruits see the support.

  28. Boya_jr June 4, 2016 6:18 pm

Also I need an UH umbrella. Guarantee I will use it while walking around San Francisco financial district. No recruits there but influencers who could hire our graduates.

    DaveLetterMan:

    Howzit, Brah!

Thanks for the list you posted – with “piece-meal” postings by ST in the SA – one truly misses seeing the “overall” recruiting by Coach Rolo and his staff

for example, I was surprised to see so many DL recruits – filling the pockets for the future, but what about 2016? return of, dang, what’s his name, helps, but all it takes is a single game where one or two DT go down and the pocket gets real thin – hot dog, just like whenever I go Vegas!!!!!!!!!!

are all the 2016 scholarships gone with the last 2 signees? did this contribute to the number of “walk-ons” for 2016?

  40. Inyoface June 5, 2016 9:23 am

5’11 quarterbacks are some of the best qb’s for some reason. Mostly in college but can transition to the NFL if stout enough.

  41. A-House June 5, 2016 9:29 am

it’s Obon season for many Japanese in Hawaii and across the globe

Hawaii Lantern Festival had its humble beginnings to the late 1970s/early 1980s called Toro Nagashi – one of the founders/prinicpal force behind this movement was former Hawaii legislator Joe “Jumbo” Kuroda and US Army Reserve officer with whom I had the pleasure/honor of serving with

today, the simplistic rituals are now very elaborate and a global event — televised worldwide and via the internet

to honor those who have gone before us and gave us what we have today, Domo Arigato/Mahalo/thank you/gracious/shi-shi/dunka

  42. A-House June 5, 2016 9:37 am

outside our master bedroom window screen, tucked nicely in the upper left corner is one of the most beautiful “moth” I have seen in many decades with different shades of gray – dark in the middle and lighter as you move out to the wing tips with a line of while in the middle of the wins forming a spread “V”

for us, this is a symbol of past family members visiting/blessing our family/house and we pay tribute to it – it’s been nearly 3 hours and it’s still there!

  43. A-House June 5, 2016 9:39 am

OK, direct order from Mrs A-House to go pick mountain apples from our neighbor’s yard
