Great comeback was hoping they would dominate USC like Long Beach did the previous match, but a win is a win.
By the skin of their teeth. At least they gutted it out, hopefully it will give them endurance for later on in the season. Any reason y joe was starting tonite instead of Jennings? Is he injured or sick? Or wade jus wanted to shake things up ? And why was everyone so off tonite? So unusual for all but one player to be off.
Took awhile for them to adjust, I think, with SC’s lineup. And think it was a good call to go back to Franciskovic.
Joe has great hands, but he’s just too small it seems up at the net 🙁 Needs to work very hard on his jump.
33. yep, it was pretty obvious when SC was hitting line over him.
31. Wade said after Saturday that he might go with Worsley. He liked what he saw in Saturday’s match at Stanford. Worked pretty well since no one had film on Worsley setting. but SC made their own adjustments, brining in Yoder to set.
People shouldn’t forget the Bows have been on the road since what last Wednesday. Tomorrow will not be an easy one either. Great win gutting this one out.
With van Tilburg and Zarkovic (early) struggling, UH had to go to the middle.
Mol and McKellar were 16-3-28 combined.
