Mahalo to New York Tsai-ko Chaptah President WarriorNY who raised the question of game score predictions last blog and offering to do it this week. Since I’m the blog archivist, I was researching the Colorado game predictions from August 19 when I got a call from Da Punchbowl Kid asking me run it this week since he a had a cap prize (separate from today’s) for the winner. Tsigh…who can refuse Tsai-ko Santa DPK. π
We did establish some ground rules for the predictions:

Morning everybody ~ TOMORROW is the day – FOOTBALL! For the tgate, Mrs. SB & I have reserved Cabana A (same as the last couple of years) at Rainbow Bay Marina for all the home game tgates. I know itβs a workday, but the routine remains the same: early crew arrive/set-up ~9AM, grill crew fires-up ~10-10:30, eat ono grindz until clean-up ~1.5 hours prior to the game. Back after the game to finish off food / celebrate the WIN. Remember, everybody (locals and visitors) are welcome. The security βpasswordβ is the same. The Warriors…are close to finalizing the completion of its 2016 recruiting class of twenty blue chip recruits and five underrated three star local prospects. Looking like it will be the best recruiting class ever. Coaches are having to turn away recruits that are on the fence choosing between the Warriors and Alabama.
Of course it would be great if the last paragraph finished this way. One can only dream it was so. Go Warriors!!!!!

I’m hoping this season is not a case of too little to late. This is Chow’s best team in terms of talent and coaching. It’s sad that the schedule is the highest mountain Chow will have to climb yet. I predicted early in his tenure Chow will need at least 3 full recruiting classes to lay the type of foundation he wants to build upon and hope fans are patient enough to give him the time. A winning record or not this year I can see some light that the cupboard is filling up with the type of players he and his staff can win with.

Tried three times to give my prediction Hawaii 27 Colorado 17. But each time my prediction was waiting for moderation should I’ve pick Colorado to win?

Let’s all hope that potential dissension among the quarterback ranks will give a sliver, or rather, a sliver of a sliver, of hope, for Hawaii’s chances against Ohio State.
If Hawaii can score 3+ touchdowns against the Buckeyes, I think Hawaii has a shot at seven wins.
Strictly focused on CU. All the talk stops its game time and put up or shut up time. Here in Chicago 89 degrees with the old reafeel @ 96. Game time tonite is low to mid 80s and 70% humidity or more. That will have an effect on the game one way or the other-hoping it’s the other. Here is something for Dave Matlin to ponder the NIU Huskies are offering one student who attend all 6 games and remain till the end free spring tuition-they are projecting a boost in student attendance to be around 5k or more. Novel idea with pluses all the way around. Now let’s have a nice turnout for tonites victory!!!!! Go Warriors!!!!
