    HAPPY EASTER, HAWAII!

    Great job mini-cleanup!

One long-time staffer said that the place(SSA and Athletic Complex area) never looked better! Thanks Team (Tsaikos, Players and Grads!)

And ST – thanks for the “bad” captions

  2. Shoko April 5, 2015 9:30 am

    Yep, Happy Easter!

The one time of year where the egg industry reaps their reward.

  3. tom April 5, 2015 9:32 am

I prefer chocolate bunnies and eggs myself!

  7. Nanakuli April 5, 2015 11:38 am

ST, are the spring football practices on the week days open to the fans? Are the new coaches screamers like Demo, or it normal like June Jones practices?

  8. NorthShoreFan April 5, 2015 11:47 am

    Guud Morning Tsaikos…bootiful day.

    1. Do not make pancakes with 14 month old baking powder. U get ..mochi instead!
    2. Yup Collie is a “playa”. Didn’t see him drop anything thrown to him. Made one grab going slightly horizontal and landing and his shoulder. Popped back up and into the huddle.
    3. Asked one of the assistants if the pace of the offense is what we can expect and he goes…”well it’s the first practice so it might be faster”…I went like….Hoooo…fast break football is here.
    4. Then Warrior volleyball players got good energy but…no can out work da Coach or Kimo!
    5. Great wins for Warrior Baseball and Na Wahine Softball!

    6. DOWN GOES KENTUCKY!

    7. IMUA WARRIORS!

  26. leron April 5, 2015 10:43 pm

Wait, the guy who gets arrested has four partners leave in the last year, is himself a certified fraud auditor, but most importantly, his firm audits HART? Interesting indeed. Where did that billion dollars go anyway?

  27. oneseason April 6, 2015 5:46 am

And, it seems, were just put on contract to “modernize” the state’s accounting system … wow … http://www.bizjournals.com/pacific/blog/2015/02/pkf-pacific-hawaii-works-to-update-states-outdated.html

  28. boolakanaka April 6, 2015 6:08 am

My uncle told me never use a CPA that has a better car or watch than you—

The Joey bandwagon grows, as he is getting more and more positive reviews as we approach the draft–http://draftbreakdown.com/justin-higdons-2015-nfl-draft-hidden-gems-joey-iosefa-fb-hawaii/ or http://cfn.scout.com/2/1534815.html or http://www.footballsfuture.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=19472727

Sure would be nice if we could put thumbs up on these comments.
    Some are very saavy.

  30. Maddog50 April 6, 2015 8:41 am

Contacted proper party at UH to inquire about updated roster. Thes guys are a lot bigger than listed. Dated material. Almost forgot about Gus Lavaka who I assume will be OL

  31. Shoko April 6, 2015 9:06 am

Is it me or is there less news about spring practice than there was last year?

  32. st. anthony trojan April 6, 2015 9:57 am

SHOKO… maybe the past few years..of not having a so-so record..the stay away fans are just not into it ne more…maybe ALL CHANGE AFTER THE FIRST 3 WINS…after the first 3 games…he he he

  33. Tiki808 April 6, 2015 10:06 am

Anyone know when Tupu Aluu Aluu & Tyson Aluu Aluu played?

  34. Shoko April 6, 2015 10:28 am

    32. Or maybe there isn’t much to report….yet. Although I do think interest has been dwindling considering the struggles of the football program.

    Anyway…

A Koa Anuenue spokeperson tells Hawaii News Now that Oki does not have any financial authority and the organization’s money was not at risk despite Oki’s alleged criminal actions.”

  35. Inyoface April 6, 2015 11:06 am

I never really followed or even knew when spring training was up until Macs later years. The Internet wasn’t really as big when JJ was around or I just saw the finished product when the season began.

  36. Stephen Tsai April 6, 2015 11:15 am

    Tiki:
Tupu Alualu played in the early to mid-90s.
After Wagner was fired, it was Alualu who helped organize the postseason banquet, which was held at the Saint Louis Clubhouse.
