Kind of surprised Schrieber is not in the top 3 pairs, but hopefully this means Rooks and Urban have really improved a lot from last season.
By the way it looks like UH beach wahine got another commitment from Cyrene Hertzog, 5′ 8 from Washington.
Looks like the 2016 class is probably the best one ever so far for UH beach volleyball team.
2. Spoke with Schreiber yesterday. Nice young woman. loves to surf as well.
Hall had said something about her passing not being up to the level they need for top pair but much will be learned this Friday when they play someone else.
They also look at chemistry and height. They don’t have a lot of bigs so they’re splitting them up with ball handers.
Schreiber also missed some practice with illness.

3. Hall is working hard for both teams. Apparently there is interest in Plummer but she is not reciprocating. He was at that prep showcase last weekend in Colo.
New assistant expected to be in place this Friday. They’re waiting on the vetting process.

4. too bad about Plummer, kind of confirms she’s probably thinking Stanford.
I hope we hear about some 2016 commitments soon.
I didn’t realize Spieler and Urban were so close, hope they do very well this season.
6. wouldn’t give up on Plummer. just said that it didn’t sound like there was mutual interest. the 2016 commits are all verbal so no official news for a while.
Just checked this site for the Sandbows schedule and it says its coming soon. Think games start this friday?

11. not sure if she’ll bring her beach serve indoors but it does add an element to her game. Playing with Tiegs is going to help her with her blocking too.
